I am hopefully back on track with the All Stars 9 episodes today because I have thankfully caught this episode on time. And what a time to be back on track because this episode is going to be Snatch Game!

Naturally, Plastique Tiara and Gottmik are happy with the results of the previous episode since they ended up as the top two queens. And why wouldn’t Plastique be in the top with all of the gorgeousness she served on the runway? Like look at gorgeousness in the gallery below.

Miss Angeria Paris VanMichaels is in a less celebratory mood, having been cut in the previous episode by winner Gottmik, Nevertheless, Angeria has enough good cheer to play a little prank on Gottmik and make her think that she’s legitimately angry at her. Although she does have her eye out for Gottmik and Roxxxy Andrews.

As the queens de-drag, Nina West and Shannel start talking about what challenge is awaiting them in the next episode. While Shannel doesn’t think it’s going to be Snatch Game, she and Nina West end up taking about their chosen Snatch Game character and surprise, they both picked Liberace. The tension.

The tension ratchets up even further the next day when RuPaul tells them that yes, Snatch Game is the next challenge. And now Nina and Shannel are probably going to have to compromise when it comes to their Snatch Game choices or we’re going to have two Liberaces during the game. Which I’m really not opposed to, to be honest.

While Nina and Shannel figure out their Liberace situation, Plastique is panicking and intimidated, especially after she lists all the Snatch Game strengths of all the other contestants. I didn’t think she flopped during her original Snatch Game, but it wasn’t exactly a stand out either, so there’s really reason for Plastique to be worried.

Vanjie is doing Cleopatra and if you thought that’s wild Gottmik is doing THE ORIGINAL DOG THAT PLAYED LASSIE. Oh this is either going to be so good or a train wreck I can’t wait to see how this turns out.

I also laughed at Roxxxy telling Nina and Shannel that they could end up both being great Liberaces or horrible Liberaces. I feel like Roxxxy really has found the happy medium from how mean she was in Season 5 to how cloying she was in All Star 2.

Plastique is doing Ali Wong and I think she should be happy there are no eliminations because if you’re going to do a comedian you’re literally going to pale beside them, especially when it’s a popular one like Ali Wong. But then again she just might turn it out!

Meanwhile, Jorgeous is going to be Chi-Chi Rodriguez from To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar and I hope she does okay with it because I have a fondness for To Wong Foo. But let’s see!

Snatch Game starts with the first batch and just first impressions Roxxxy’s Tasha Salad may not be a hit. Jorgeous’ Chi Chi isn’t exactly working for me either so this looks like Angeria’s and Shannel’s to lose.

And…where did Angeria get that pastry??? And Jorgeous is funny but not because of her Chi Chi impresion. Shannel is doing reasonably well but Roxxxy’s Tasha Salad is a complete dud. I wanted to make a rajneeshi joke but thought better about it.

Nina’s batch is next and boy Plastique really shot herself in the foot with this one because it was dead on arrival with that introduction. And this really is Nina’s batch because she’s the one standing out from the group. And Gottmik too but I didn’t get her character initially!

The next day the queens discuss what they would do with the two badges the top queens will get and Roxxxy shows her pageant girl roots by explaining how giving away one of the badges could be a strategic move. If whoever wins gives away her extra badge to someone who already has one, she isn’t as much of a target for snipping because there’s now another queen with just as many badges as she does.

The runway theme is “A Tail and Two Titties” and first off, HAHAHAHAHAHA. Second, Plastique is really the runway girl of the season because that kitsune outfit is beautiful. Gottmik also had a great runway but in a more abstract way rather than from a fashion standpoint.

Nina West and Gottmik are the top two queens of the week and I have to agree! Now if Nina wants to earn some money for her charity she better hope the lip sync song is on her side! But since Anitta is the special guest judge I am guessing Gottmik is taking the money tonight.

The lip sync happens and…well it happens. I’m sorry Nina I love you and all but that lip sync was not it. And you were too distracting and it took away from Gottmik’s performance. Gottmik cuts off Jorgeous and that’s our episode tonight!
