Ron Does Stuff

Catching up! Hopefully, hopefully, the next episode I’ll be able to catch the episode on the day itself. No more lagging behind!

Luna’s departure in the previous episode is definitely the Plasma moment of this season, and the queens are obviously shook. BUT, nobody wanted a non-elimination either so that’s that.

The next day, the queens figure out pretty quickly that the Maxi Challenge is going to be a morning show . But before they do that, they need to change into quick drag…without putting on makeup. In three minutes Oooohhh, this is different!

And the results are hilarious. Jenary was right on the money when she said that Unique looked like Shrek’s Fairy Godmother. Anyways, they head on to a different location where they’re supposed to put their makeup while on a treadmill and one of their hands holding onto a strap. There’s a whole bus conceit thing. I don’t know if the whole bus thing was needed but you have to put that Anastasia Beverly Hills logo somewhere!

Elektra and Unique win this mini challenge, which tells me that there’s going to be teams on the Maxi Challenge. But the show tells me fuck that, it’s just to determine who the first two people to pick the roles will be.

Unique tries to make the role-picking a little less charged, but Lexxa really wants to lead the aerobics segment and picks it ahead of everyone else, which leads to the other girls immediately picking what’s left. There’s a little tension between Jenary and Horacio who both want to become weather girls (with hard, hard nipples) but Jenary lets Horacio have it since she thinks Horacio’s leaving soon anyway.

Jenary says she’s doing it to fuck with Horacio’s mind but I’ve seen multiple seasons of Drag Race and all this tells me is that Jenary may be next queen to go home.

But maybe I’m wrong, because despite an early setback, Jenary and Unique look like they’re a good fit for the host and co-host roles. Maybe Horacio is going home. Or most probably Lexxa, because she can’t even remember her lines during the shoot. Lolita even tells her that she hopes the editing team helps her out.

Elektra and Eva also have some trouble with the shoot and even make Lolita and Taiga a bit uncomfortable with the lubrication joke. Now…I don’t think this is being shown on Mexican TV anyway, so maybe a little crude humor is okay? But Lolita and Taiga don’t seem to approve.

We get the runway first before we see the morning show results, and can I say with the theme of Mexican Candy I feel like Matraka would have killed on this runway? Oh well.

They start showing the morning show and Unique and Jenary really do have great chemistry together and they were funny! Lexxa…well the judges were laughing.Meanwhile, Elektra and Eva’s segment was unhinged and this should get them a safe placement at least! Horacio…will probably have to pack her bags because girl. Girl.

The judges’ critiques sorta kinda reflected this as well. Unique and Jenary are definitely the top two queens, while Lexxa and Horacio are quite obviously the bottom queens. But as Eva Blunt said, they’re so ridiculously young and still have so much time to do what they want. Take it in stride!

It’s another double win! Jenary now has three badges and Unique has her very first one. Eva is declared safe and so is Elektra. Horacio and Lexxa end up in the bottom and YOU KNOW FUCKING WHAT THEY BOTH KILLED THAT LIP SYNC. IT’S A TRAVESTY IF THIS ISN’T A DOUBLE SHANTAY!

AND THEY BOTH STAY! YES!
