I just checked the Japanese original and that ran for 10 episodes, so has this show also ran its course already and there’s no chance of me ever catching up? I dunno! But I’ll continue to watch anyway since I’m enjoying it!
We ended the previous episode with Atom and Kongthap sorta kinda agreeing to date, as “more than friends but less than boyfriends”. Now what the hell does that mean? Neither Atom nor Kongthap know either.
When they get back to school, Atom has this whole fantasy in his head that Kongthap’s going to be an idol doing fanservice for him but as we all know, there’s a wide gap between expectation and reality.
Since it’s their “place” now, Atom and Kongthap talk about their “thing” on the school rooftop. And there we find out that both of them are virgins who can’t drive.
Atom says he knows who he can talk to when it comes to matters of love and he goes to…Mudmee, who is having love troubles of her own since Half rejected her. Atom, baby, both of you are virgins who can’t drive. It’s the blind leading the blind!
Mudmee isn’t taking the rejection very well, and Atom is doing his best to get Half to remember that time when he first met Mudmee at the high school entrance exam. But he also has his own stuff to worry about, not just regarding Kongthap, but also because the substitute guidance counselor finds it worrying that he doesn’t know what to do with his future. He’s a teenager, stop making teenagers make huge decisions when their hormones have them confused!
To the counselor’s credit, he doesn’t discount the one thing Atom’s passionate about at the moment — getting into the same university as Kongthap. Now, the counselor doesn’t know that Atom is crushing on a boy, but we’ll get to that later just like in the Japanese version.Since the counselor already offered up the fact that he got into a university because he followed his crush, Atom take the plunge and asks him what he should be doing now that he’s in a “talking stage” with someone.
One of the suggestions is to eat together, which of course is the perfect opportunity for some product placement.

Atom runs into an unexpected — or is it? — hurdle while they take their product placement food on the rooftop: Kongthap doesn’t seem to want to hold hands. Which I really don’t think is that bad post-COVID but I also understand where you’re coming from Atom!
Mudmee isn’t faring any better with Half, because Half really doesn’t remember her from before. Which…I’m fine with as long as he like me now, but at this point in the story I don’t think Half knows that he likes her. And to Half’s credit, he does remember Valentine’s from last year when Mudmee gave him a cupcake. Although he does mess it up immediately because he doesn’t even remember what the cupcake tasted like. And Mudmee has had it.
Meanwhile, the guidance counselor is unaware that he is enabling homosexuality as he gives advice to Atom on how to take his relationship with Kongthap just a little but further. Again, if you’ve watched the Japanese original, you know how this turns out. Anyways, Atom ~accidentally~ asks Kongthap out on a date and Kongthap says yes!
Back to the straights, Half tells Mudmee that the reason why he was unable to eat her cupcake is because Atom ate it first and lemme tell you while watching that flashback I was all…well why don’t you kiss Atom so you find out what that cupcake tastes like since it’s in his mouth and all? But that’s just me. Anyways, Mudmee gets friendzoned! But that isn’t stopping her from getting her man. You go Mudmee!
Atom, on the other hand, is preparing for his date with Kongthap and thanks to Mudmee’s auspicious colors advice, it seems like he’s going to be wearing three different colors at the same time? Let’s see how this turns out! Meanwhile, Kongthap gets to do the contact lens product placement! no screenshot for that one though, sorry.
Kongthap’s mom, being the number one person shipping the two of them, shares her own first date story with Kongthap and says she wore every auspicious color so Atom the bottom confirmed.
Atom is already waiting at the cinemas and really he shouldn’t be worrying about looking like a Christmas tree but more about sweating. Layers in the Thai heat? I’m sweating just thinking about it. Anyways, Kongthap arrives, Atom devours the popcorn they buy, and then Kongthap picks off the popcorn pieces on Atom’s lip and tries to eat it. GIRL IF THAT’S ALL IT TOOK I’D BE EATING POPCORN EVERYDAY.
Inside the cinema, Atom tries to put on the moves on Kongthap but is promptly distracted by the sad movie that he didn’t know enough to research. And is the movie being named “My Cat President” a reference to “My School President”, their previous show together?
Anyways, we finally get an explanation as to why Kongthap recoiled back on the rooftop. It was just static electricity, y’all! They just have that electricity going through them, wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Kongthap doesn’t have a problem with holding Atom’s hand at all.
And boy does he make a show of it. Putting his hand on Atom’s shoulder first and then slowly moving down? Do you want Atom to get hard in public? Man, I wish I had this experience back when I was in high school. Which was way back during the Cambrian period.
The guys then head off to a wishing mountain of some sort and on the way to the peak Atom really starts feeling the layers of clothing he has on, which gives Kongthap the opportunity to tell him to take at least his top layer off because he’s attractive whatever he wears anyway and you just know Atom had at least a half chub from that one.
And then they have to cross a glass bridge to get to the peak of the mountain and we get ATOM HAVING TO LOOK AT KONGTHAP’S EYES AS THEY CROSS SO HE WON’T BE AFRAID? THIS MALICIOUS GAY FAGGOTRY HAS TO STOP.
Anyways, these homosexuals manage to cross the bridge and tie their little pink love ribbons so their love wishes can come true. I can’t deal with this right now.
OKAY WAIT NO. They head down from the mountain and they do this cute little argument about whoever lets go of the other’s hand first is the loser AND THEN guidance counselor Homophobia sees the two of them. Oh I remember this from the Japanese show.
