I’m still trying to get all my ducks in a row because of the hectic week I’ve had, but once again, if there’s one show I am going to insist on watching and blogging about sorta on time, Agatha All Along is going to be it.
As we’ve seen in the last episode, the secret is out and Agatha and Billy are now almost completely honest with each other about who they are and what they want. I say almost because I still don’t have an idea what the show is going to spring on me,
The episode opens with this beautiful shot of Lilia falling dressed as Glinda, the Good Witch. Not gonna lie, reminded me of that Le Sserafim “The World Is My Oyster” video.
Back on the Witches’ Road, Billy and Agatha are having a terse conversation. We find out that Billy — understandably — has issues with the Scarlet Witch and yet still wonders if she’s still alive. He’s also wondering if Agatha has even been any help at all.
They finally enter the Witches’ Road’s latest trial and Agatha claims the Wicked Witch of the West was based on her, which Billy doesn’t believe. I love the look that Agatha gives Billy here. She is definitely missing that Familiar fawning that she’d gotten used to over the past few episodes. Also, I like how gay Billy is with that cheekbone remark? Ironic, because he was literally making out with a guy in the previous episode.
It’s a tarot-based challenge which of course Lilia would have probably aced but Billy sent her sinking down a mud pit so now, just like me, they have no idea how to get out of this latest trial.
THEN we get to where Lilia and Jen are and we get this heartbreaking look at how all of Lilia’s weird exclamations in the previous episode have all linked up. The reason why she’s kooky is because her mind is lost in time. And I love how they’ve incorporated that feeling into the episode because I am loving getting slightly disoriented by everything that’s happening.
That said, it does make it a little difficult to properly recount the episode in a blog post. But does that really matter knowing that you’re all watching this anyway? Maybe even ahead of me? ANYWAYS, we get a little more insight into Billy as he asks who he really is. Is he William Kaplan or Billy Maximoff? Lilia’s replies are intriguing, especially if you’ve read the comics. Is she alluding to Billy being the Demiurge?
And then we barrel back in time, to Lilia’s time with her Maestra, and then back to when they first wake up after Billy flings them off the road. There’s a really great shot of the Salem Seven and I really hope they’re not just an Agatha All Along thing although they probably won’t be making another appearance after this show.
Llilia finally figures out the trial and can I just say the way they’ve woven together all the random utterances Lilia has said throughout the show is so good? And then the Rio Vidal is Death reveal? Like I know Funko Pop spoiled that or something but it’s still a treat to see!

Then comes the heartbreaking part. Lilia realizes what she has to do. She sends off what remains of the coven, giving Agatha, Billy, and Jen advice on what they’re going to face. She also tells everyone that Rio is Death and Agatha confirms that she’s “always liked the bad boys”. And to give the remaining members of the coven an easier time ahead, Lilia sacrifices herself to get rid of the Salem Seven. Like I said, heartbreaking, just like all the deaths in the show so far.
