Oh my god I am actually going to be able to watch this episode on the day it airs.
The previous episode saw Nane Sphera sashay away after her performance in the makeover challenge, although I do think Spicy could just as easily have been sent home because I didn’t like either one of the lip sync performances. But whatever, we’re here and the queens are doing the requisite mourning for the departed queen.
After the requisite mourning, Gawdland pronounces in the confessionals that she’s the frontrunner, which just makes me think that this is the episode that she’s going to sashay away. Never give production footage of you saying that because they’ll immediately plot your downfall!
The next day, the queens are discussing who’s going to be lip syncing this episode and if I were Spicy I’d be a little hurt because these three queens think it’s a given she’s in the bottom. But Zepee maybe has the gift of prophecy because she says that maybe it’s going to be her and Gawdland in the bottom and given the fact that Gawdland has already voiced out that thought that she’s the frontrunner, it might just happen!
We’ll see if that ends up happening but first, the queens have to do this week’s mini challenge, which is to transform into the Power Butt Girls, a name that is surely the title of some anal-based heterosexual porn somewhere. I’d search for it myself but I don’t want heterosexual porn polluting my environment.
Anyways, the queens have to twerk blindfolded against the Pit Crew and I wish they focused more on that Pit Crew in the middle because he’s cute? Like a Thai Piolo Pascual, honestly.
Anyways, Frankie Wonga win the mini challenge and gets money and the power to assign the topics for this week’s Maxi Challenge, which is a talk show. Already Zepee and Gawdland are worried about their fates and it really does seem like Zepee glimpsed the future for a second there.
During the walktheough challenge, Pangina and I have the same thought about Spicy dressing up as the guest judge for today and the one they’ll interview on the talk show, since she’s already done it on Snatch Game. It could be really fun if Spicy is witty enough to pull it off.
Leading up to the actual challenge, the queens build up Pa Tue the guest judge as a rowdy personality but apparently the real challenge they’re going to face is Pa Tue is being tight-lipped in the challenge. They have to draw out his normal rowdy personality else they’re going to get kicked to the bottom. Gawdland is up first and she flounders at the start but I think she manages to get it together as the show progresses?
Frankie Wonga is up next and I think she does a good job? Maybe Pa Tue was still warming up when he talked with Gawdland and that’s why the other queens thought he wasn’t being himself? The Frankie Wonga interview also gives us the nuggest of wisdome that is “I may have one world. But I have many continents.”
Zepee is…probably going to be in the bottom because it was boring for me ands I literally almost dozed off. And Zepee seems aware that she’s not in a good spot at the moment because she literally was unaware that she still had time to fill up for the challenge and she already dismissed Pa Tue.
Unfortunately, Spicy doesn’t dress up as Pa Tue for the interview, a move that I feel would have made for some comedic moments. Instead we get…a school report? It was very tell me details I can find out about you on Wikipedia anyway. Production also has ominous music playing in the background during the interview so I guess Spicy will be saying goodbye this episode because I don’t think they’d send home Zepee, who already has two badges compared to Spicy’s one.
On the runway, Spicy further cements her bottom placement because that outfit does not have enough hair that was part of the brief. Zepee’s look was beautiful but where was the hair? Or am I misinterpreting the theme? I don’t think i am because Gawdland and Frankie both come out in head to toe hair looks.
The critiques begin and Spicy and Zepee get negative critiques for their performance in the Maxi Challenge, as expected. Frankie also looks like he’ll win another badge as he gets more positive critique from the judges compared to everyone else.
Frankie wins the Maxi Challenge, making him a third-medal winner, I rhink? Gawdland is also safe, with Zepee and Spicy in the bottom. Both queens promise to deliver a standout show and maybe it would have been a standout show if subtitles were provided. I think the two of them were performing to a touching song because Frankie and Gawdland are tearing up but I have no idea what the song they’re performing is saying.
AND SPICY GETS TO STAY! DAMN. Zepee delivers an emotional speech that has the judges crying and I really should have seen it coming because she also gets to stay! It’s a top four in the finale!
