Ron Watches Castlevania Nocturne Season 2 Episode 8

It’s the final episode! Let’s see how it all ends for our heroes!

At the end of the last episode, Drolta finally realized that she didn’t need to take orders from a white woman when she was the perfect vessel for Sekhmet all along. She drained Erzsebet and taken in bad!Sekhmet’s two souls, while good!Sekhmet is still in Annette’s very exhausted body.

This time around it’s Richter and Alucard teaming up against Drolta and this is pretty much Dragonball Z-ing the next few minutes of the show. They weaken Drolta enough for Annette and good!Sekhmet to find an opening and take away her two other souls from Drolta, who bemoans the fact that she was only doing what she thought Sekhmet wanted. On theme for the show, which has offered us religious figures who just thought they were doing what their deities wanted, but in their hearts knew that this was what they wanted.

Drolta is defeated with an assist from Olrox and we get a family picture of the show’s heroes as the sun rises again over Paris. We also get a set-up for what could be a third season, with Annette, Richter, and Edouard heading to the Americas to fight in the slave revolts, while Juste and Maria stay on in Paris to continue with the French Revolution, which if Oversimplified has taught us anything is going to be beset with beheadings.

The show also sets up the possible villains for a next season if there ever is one, with Tera looking like she’s possessed by whoever Old Man Coyote is, probably a deity from Olrox’s religion. And speaking of Olrox, I am guessing he’s not going to be a couple anti-hero, as Mizrak and his big butt is now also a vampire and they end their run on the show having bloody vampire butt sex. I’m guessing it’s Death again in the potential next season, since Old Man Coyote looks happy at the start of the beheadings. But let’s see if that’s what’s going to happen!
