Ron Does Stuff

I crawled out of my cave during the weekend to attend “Books that make you Blush”, a Blush Books signing event at Fully Booked’s The Studio in Bonifacio Global City.

My old book blog’s gone kaput now, so I can’t link to my previous posts about RomanceClass events, but those events are always a fun time. And when those events have live readings, it’s even better because I legitimately enjoy watching the audience watch the live readers.

Attending the event was also something I really needed because I’ve had a hectic work week and I just need to relax, you know? And it’s relaxing, even if I did have to do “work” that I volunteered for because I’ve never seen the live readers rehearse and it’s so great to see how they just amp it up when it comes to the actual performance.

While I already have physical or e-book copies of the books for the event, it was also great to see new people buying them and lining up to have them signed by the authors present. Hope to see more of this at the Philippine Book Festival next month!
