Ron Does Stuff

It’s been a minute since I’ve watched this show since I’ve been distracted by work, my personal life, and other shows that have passed by. But now I’m getting back to this frankly entertaining show!

Shiba finally told Haruto that he love him in the previous episode and after a chaste peck the show starts some foreshadowing about Haruto’s tragic past. Will we learn more about it in this episode?

Maybe we will, but not in the opening scenes, which has Shiba and Haruto enjoying some domestic bliss. Haruto home-baked some bread for Shiba and made some jam from scratch. We got a Meghan Markle over here or something!

The homemade bread sort of comes with a price though — Haruto wants to visit a hot spring with Shiba and Shiba isn’t a fan of them. But of course, Shiba is sorta willing to take on that challenge for Haruto. I do get why he hates it though, although I never thought of it before as stewing in other people’s juices. Thanks for that, Shiba!

Kotaro congratulates Shiba on this milestone — or congratulates Shiba’s “friend” — but it’s also a way for him to show off his shiny couple ring that he got from his boyfriend, which of course Shiba now wants for him and Haruto. But more than that, Kotaro points out that since it’s going to be a hot spring date, they’ll probably be going to be some hot and heavy things happening. Which Shiba did not think of!

Shiba is stressed about the possibility of him and Haruto fucking but he still goes on the hot springs trip anyway and even gamely poses for some heart hands and cat eyes poses with Haruto. Because as stressed as he is about the possible fucking he also wants it so bad. I get it!

There’s some yukata cuteness for those who are into that and then we get the hot spring nakedness because that’s just how they do it in Japan! They don’t show them naked, of course, but it’s said out loud that it’s just the two of them in the hot springs and they are very naked. Shiba’s worried about Haruto seeing everything but didn’t he already do that during the first episode? Haruto’s even got video and everything.

That night, there is indeed only one futon in the room because Haruto told the staff that’s all they needed. But before they can even get down to get nasty, Shiba turns the mood emotional by presenting Haruto with couple rings that just loosen up Haruto’s hole or something because he’s like completely pliant and just lets Shiba kiss him and lay him down on the futon.

BUT TURNS OUT SHIBA’S A VIRGIN WHO CAN’T DRIVE.

But more than that, Shiba is a little taken aback by the scar on Haruto’s side. Just a little, because he agrees when Haruto says that what’s in the past is no longer important and that what they should focus on is them, right now. And they get into it all fade into the lamp style with hands clasped and everything, couple ring prominently displayed. That’s more than Alan and Kazuto ever did!
