Ron Does Stuff

We got final four in the previous episode and now we’re going to watch who is going to claim the title of Queen She Done Already Done Had Herses, which will be determined via a LalapaRuza. Let’s jump right in!

We get a shot of the final four returning to the Werk Room, quickly followed by the queens who had been eliminated in the previous episodes. I am curious how that Jewels-Arrietty reunion is going to like. Even better, what is that Onya-Arrietty reunion going to look like!

But of course, ever since Joella achieved viral fame, I feel like they’ve edited this so that she and the Joella dynasty immediately become the first thing brought up. And then we have Arrietty with new lips and a supposed new attitude that Jewels immediately clocks. There is also confirmation of Kori and Lydia’s relationship and they look so cute together! Kori also gets to showcase Kori Toot to Suzie Toot in person which is a hoot.

Onya and Arrietty finally get to talk about the mirror message and Arrietty says she’s sorry about what she wrote and to Onya’s credit, she believes and accepts Arrietty’s apology.

Lucky Starzzz is also looking to use this opportunity as a chance to showcase herself more and I really do want her to do really well because seeing her get sent home was so heartbreaking to me. She really wanted this for herself and it was so sad to see her not get it. However, the episode is setting this up as a confrontation between Lydia and Lana.

The LalapaRuza starts and Hormona is the first to go but she’s given the choice to either pick her opponent or pick the lip sync song. And the song is crucial to winning. She chooses to pick the song and the one she finally settles on is “Liza With A Z”, which is also the song that Suzie Toot wanted for herself. It would be a blast if Hormona ends up lip syncing against Suzie.

But the drag gods picked Lydia! And I guess the drag gods have no love for Hormona because while it wasn’t a trouncing from Lydia, I think Lydia earned her win here. She’s off to wait for the next challenger!

Suzie is up next and she chooses to pick her opponent instead and her pick is Joella, who picks “Training Season” by Dua Lipa. Suzie says “Training Season” isn’t exactly a song she’s into but she’s confident she can at least take on the Joella Dynasty. And she’s right! Overall, I thought the lip syncs were just meh but Suzie did outdance her.

The next queen competing is Lucky Starzzz and before she even makes her decision I am already rooting for her to win. She chooses “Step by Step” by Whitney Houston and she’s going up against Acacia. And I think this was the closest one so far! Acacia had that great hair reveal and dip moment while Lucky had that jiggly balls thing. Either one of them could have won but I’m happy it’s Lucky who made it through.

Arrietty is the next person lip syncing and she’s going up against Kori, which isn’t what Kori planned for at all. I think Kori did a better job than Arrietty and Ru proves me right! I honestly thought that the thingies Arrietty brought out just distracted from her lip sync rather than accentuate it.

Finally, Lana and Crystal are up next and Lana is the one that gets to pick the song. She picks “You Make Me Feel” by Sylvester because it’s not the song Crystal wanted, which is just bad decision-making on Crystal’s part. Why’d you tell your opponents what song you wanted? Of course they’re not going to pick that! But to be fair to Crystal, it was literally neck and neck until Lana decide to ride her ass. If you watch the episode you’ll know what I mean.

Lucky is the first to go in the semi-final round and the song she picks is “We Found By Love” by Rihanna. The queen she’ll be battling is Suzie Toot and this might just be the one that sends Suzie home. I don’t think Suzie can do Rihanna! But apparently, she can! I think Lucky did shoot herself in the foot because she revealed those basketballs a little too early.

Now it’s Lana, Kori, and Lydia going up against each other and the only song we’re left with is “360” by Charli XCX. This was another great lip sync but I preferred Kori among the three of them. And Ru agreed with me again! Oh my god am I psychic? But I also think it’s because of how well Kori has done well ever since she’s gotten eliminated.

Kori and Suzie are the final two queens and even before the performance starts I think they’re going to give it to Suzie. Unless they’re going to be putting her in an All Stars season! I think Kori won it but I guess they’re not putting Suzie in an All Stars!
