Ron Does Stuff

Ever since the pandemic, I haven’t really made an effort to go out and attend things because why would I want to leave the comfort and safety of my own place? As the literal years since the pandemic has passed, though, I’ve made more of an effort to get out of my place and attend things like Romance Class events and Komiket!

All of this happened around the 4th of May and thanks to the unpredictability of booking transportation and traffic in my fair country I arrived very early and Fully Booked wasn’t open yet. Which wasn’t that bad, really. There was a shaded area with benches and I got to get some reading in, which I really want to do more of but I’m just never in the right frame of mind.

When Fully Booked finally opened it was pretty easy to set things up along with Mina and Six as well as the helpful staff of Fully Booked. There were six of the current crop of Romance Class ~students~ who attended the face to face while the rest watched via stream. There were some interesting questions asked and some fun discussions had and I hope that there are new books that result from this year’s class!

After the face to face and lunch, I joined Mina, Six, Tara, and Brij in manning the Romance Class table courtesy of Komiket. I didn’t get to stay for very long, unfortunately, because I had a job the next day, but I still managed to get in some quality chismis time with the gang. Chismis is important!
