‘Superman’ star David Corenswet’s grandfather created ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’
I didn’t know a lot about David Corenswet other than the fact that he’s the new Superman, but now People has reported a fact about him that’s so interesting to me — he’s the grandson of Edward Packard, the creator of Choose Your Own Adventure books. And of course, he’s also a fan of the books.
“I read them growing up. Anytime we would visit his house, they’d be around. And they’re amazing books,” he tells People in an interview.
“Especially … at an age where you’re too young for video games or, when I was growing up, when video games were not quite as accessible and ubiquitous,” the actor continues. “They really were the most interactive media you could easily find.”
