It’s been a minute since I wrote about the previous episode because of IRL things, but we’re back in business! Let’s watch the penultimate episode!
We got ourselves a twist at the end of the previous episode, with Thara revealed as the actual Big Bad of the show. Let’s see how they’re going to wrap everything up in the end!
We go back all the way to the first episode and find out about the dream that Tong had. Thara’s the one that killed the husband and wife in Tong’s dream, but laid off the baby-eating because she has to wait for Tong to turn 21. And Thara relays all of this to Tong, which just shows that she is not Ozymandias from Watchmen.
Over at where Mark is, Nakan is convincing him that Tong is going to be done for once he turns 21. The threat of losing your regular dick appointment should be convincing, but it looks like it’s an argument that doesn’t work on Mark.
Once he returns to Thara’s place, Tong tells him the same thing that Nakan said, but Mark is still doubtful. I sure do hope this is a ruse on Mark’s part because if I was Tong I’d revoke all bussy privileges by this point. AND HE DOES REVOKE BUSSY PRIVILEGES. He’s ruining it by calling so pathetically for Mark, though. Stand on business!
Turns out it is a ruse! While Mark confronts Thara about her actual plans for Tong’s precious fairy vagina Golden Blood, Nakan has sprung Tong free from Thara’s prison. Thara then has her guards beat up Mark, and it’s a pretty meh action sequence that you can skip past if you’re watching this on YouTube like me.

While that’s happening, Nakan and Tong are safe elsewhere, with Nakan having mind controlled the cat, I guess? The cat gets the keys from the guard and brings it to Mark, who promptly escapes and runs away. I started thinking that shouldn’t the guard have noticed the cat took the keys from him, but we find out that Thara let it happen so they can tail Mark and find where Tong’s precious fairy vagina Golden Blood is hiding.
Mark goes to where Tong is being hidden, and the two of them kiss right in front of Nakan. Poor Nakan, without a bussy of his own. No wonder he skedaddled out of there. But now that he’s not in the room, we get some hurt/comfort, with Tong tending Mark’s wounds. They don’t show it, but since they wake up shirtless in each other’s arms the next day, I am assuming that they had sex the night before, Mark’s wounds be damned.
The next morning, we get these nice shots of them being domestic, brushing their teeth together, Tong fixing Mark’s hair, feeding each other breakfast, it’s all very cute if a little out of place in an episode before the end of the show. But Mark’s shirtless in most of it, so who am I to complain, really?
But I guess all that domesticity did have a place in the episode, because apparently, Mark has agreed to kill Tong? What? Nakan thinks it’s the only way that Tong can be free of Thara, and even tells Mark that he’ll do it himself if Mark can’t do it. And Mark does not like that.
Mark refuses to kill Tong and goes on with their life for now as if Thara isn’t hunting them. We get another bathtub scene and this one if definitely smaller than the one they had before. But apparently it’s big enough for them to do this:

However, all the canoodling comes to an end when Tong reveals that he heard Mark and Nakan’s conversation. And Tong reveals he’s okay with kicking the bucket if it means Mark’s safety will be assured. Mark eventually agrees, I think? But he says he’ll be the one to choose their ending. Is this going to be like the ending to Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit?
Nope, I misunderstood! Mark is going to go up against Thara while Tong runs away, since he thinks it’s the only way that he can end this thing without killing Tong. But as Tong pointed out in that cozy bathtub, if it’s not Thara, some other vampire will want his precious fairy vagina Golden Blood. But anyways, that’s what Mark’s decided on.
Mark and Nakan finally confront Thara in a pretty meh location — some street somewhere. Like that street could have been from anywhere, there’s nothing distinguishing about it. Mark and Nakan are overpowered, but Mark refuses to reveal where Tong is. But it looks like he doesn’t need to do it anyway, because Tong comes back rather than run away like they originally planned. He offers himself to Thara, so Mark can be saved.
