Work, frankly, is still crushing and dispiriting, and I am still just not in the right mental space to do anything more after work, so I’ve still had to delay watching some of the shows I’ve been watching. But I’ve got some free time now, so let’s get into it!
We saw Aek be a submissive little bottom in the previous episode, feeding Chai chicken and everything. Meanwhile, Nut is starting to rebel against his father and went to Win’s house for some chicken. Also, lesbianism is starting to brew between Lin and Biu. It’s a world where straight is the minority.
Anyways, every member of the homosexual gang aside from Lin are off to school, with Chai having a little more pep in his step since his mom found the cap he promised he would give to Aek. Lin, meanwhile, is being asked by her parents what she thinks of Nut, but she doesn’t have the heart to tell them that Nut is a homosekswal. Lin’s parents are thinking of getting them engaged after they finish 12th grade, which is nuts to me all the way here in 2025. Aren’t they too young? Anyways, Lin doesn’t want to talk about it because of her budding sapphic feelings.
And then I find out that Win and Nut are actually going on a camping trip together with Win’s dad and brother? Are the other peeps also going on this camping trip? Just like from the first episode, we find out that Win’s dad is supportive, but we also find out that Win was an asshole to his father after Nut died. Well, at least you get to repair that relationship now, or at least prevent it from breaking down in the first place.
So, it does turn out to be a camping trip for everyone since they got into the finals of the band competition. Win also notices the growing sapphic-ness (?) between Lin and Bui that he is of course going to encourage because that works in his favor when it comes to Nut.
While the lesbianism is brewing, Service Top Chai is lovingly looking at Power Bottom Aek having trouble lighting a camp fire. He helps Aek light that fire, and Aek cums gets charcoal on Chai’s face as a thank you. Oh, Aek is definitely looking to get pounded.

While that MALICIOUS GAY FAGGOTRY is happening, Win’s dad finally sets up their tent, but as it turns out, it can’t fit all three of them anymore. And look who’s alone in his tent. Nut. Maybe this is the night Nut nuts and Win finally get to talk about their ~feelings~.
Over at the lesbian side of things, Biu is helping Lin set up her tent, but she’s also forgotten to bring the pork they were supposed to cook. Truly, Biu is not trying to be boxed in by lesbian stereotypes. Her forgetfulness means that Aek and Chai get to go to town on each other to buy the pork.
Meanwhile, Win and Nut are off somewhere to gather firewood, and Nut starts to run out of breath. We still have no idea how Win plans of saving Nut’s life. He can’t even tell him he likes him! Nut says he’s winded because of the heat, but if Win is going to fall for his excuses every time, then Nut’s just going to die again, then what would we have accomplished?
We do find out during Win and Nut’s firewood time that Nut’s father wasn’t always the killjoy that he is now. He doesn’t explain what changed, though, and I don’t know how long this show is, but if it’s 12 episodes like most Thai shows, we’re already halfway there and we still have no idea.
Anyways, Nut shares that his dad used to tell him to make a wish beside the river where they’re camping — they used to camp there when they were younger — and the kids do it as well, and then we get a camping montage where they’re all happily eating the food they made, and then they’re shirtless?

Later that night, they start singing around the campfire, and when Win’s dad sings something, it reminds Win of the other timeline where he moved out and left his dad alone, which the show implies eventually leads to him dying. I swear to Gandalf, if this show ends with him realizing that he has to live with what he has I will be very pissed.
I’m not feeling any better when they start talking about death and Nut asks if anyone of them wants him to visit them in case he dies and turns into a ghost. Chai also asks the same thing, and since these are the two characters that die in the first timeline, I am not very confident that they’ll make it out the show alive. I am preparing myself for death.
Anyways, Lin and Bui are in one tent together, while Chai moves into Aek’s tent because he’s afraid of ghosts, and doesn’t want to be alone in his tent. Win and Nut are of course in one tent, and we get a product placement!

We finally find out what it is Nut has — a brain tumor. My mind immediately goes to Katya quoting Steel Magnolias.
It would be so funny if Nut coming out heals the tumor. ANYWAYS, he tells the doctor to keep it secret until after the band competition is over, because he wants to win it first before telling his dad and getting that surgery. And I have to think that’s breaking some oath or something because isn’t Nut a minor? A health decision like this one shouldn’t be left just to him!
As they go to sleep, there’s a little blanket sharing and hand holding happening as Nut feels the cold, and I hope he’s getting the message even if Win isn’t saying anything, because if you’re going to die after all of this, the least you could do is kiss the boy you love.
And Nut better get the message soon, because the morning after, Lin asks Nut for advice on how to confess her love to Nut, and this poo guy says yes, he’ll help her out.
