We ended the first episode with Pheem on top of Than, because it’s written into Daou and Offroad’s contracts, maybe. Let’s get into the second episode!
Just so we have a refresher, here’s what happened in episode one.

Pheem, because he’s a sneaky little homo, says his back hurts and he can’t get off of Than. Oh, I’m sure Pheem wants some back arching in the future. But for now, Than just pushes him off of him.
Than apparently fell asleep on Pheem’s couch the night before, and while he dozes, Pheem prepares some food with a little bit of product placement. You betcha I took a screenshot of that.

Turns out Pheem hasn’t just made Than breakfast, he’s also ironed his clothes and drew him a warm bath. Come on, Than, at least let him fiddle with your nipples or something. Least you could do!
As Than’s eating breakfast, Pheem tells him that he’s exactly what he likes, and if he’d like to stay with him. It makes Than squirt spit out his water, but what Pheem meant was if Than wanted to be his bodyguard. Of course. Pheem even tells him he can name his salary, and as a pewr, I would have given in so quickly. Than doesn’t immediately give an answer, so I guess he’s playing hard to get.
The next day, we find out that it was Jet that sent those men to kill Pheem, so it isn’t going to be some big mystery for the rest of the show. Jet is definitely an antagonist, we just don’t know if he’s the main one. Pheem also knows that it’s Jet who sent the people, and even taunts him and tells him that the people he sent were losers. I love that there’s no big mystery here, because this means that the story can take different directions.
One particular direction is the challenges Arisa is facing within the organization. She tells their dad that Pheem got attacked last night, and Thanet is an absolute ass, because rather than just confirm or deny it, he goes on a tirade and tells his daughter that she’ll never become an executive because she’s a nosy woman who’s inefficient at her job. Damn. This is despite the fact that it was her who thought of the Mercy Angel project from episode one.
Elsewhere in Bangkok, Pheem continues to look into the possibility of Jet selling Fentanyl from the hospital’s supplies. Meanwhile, his mom’s friend has also looked into Than’s past, and she recommends that Pheem get him to work with them since the last case Than worked on before getting fired was about Fentanyl.
Meanwhile, goons wreck the place that Than and his policemen friends were fixing up in episode one. I am guessing this was going to be Than’s livelihood after his career in the police force? But now that it’s been destroyed, he might just end up working for Pheem after all. Who also appears at the scene! Suspicious!
Pheem says the goons were probably sent by his brother, although I kinda think he was the one who sent those goons himself. Jet doesn’t know about Than! Pheem tells Than that he’s looking into whether Jet is selling the hospital’s Fentanyl on the streets, and that it was also Than who framed him for bribery. I don’t know about this! Maybe the viewers who are further along know what’s already happened, but I feel like Pheem is lying and he just wants Than to help him with his revenge.
Pheem is definitely saying the right things, because being accussed of bribery really messed up Than’s life. Aside from the reputational damage, all the stress caused his mom to be hospitalized, and for both of his parents to move to Hua Hin. All of this pushes him to be Pheem’s bodyguard.
AND THEN THE SHOW PROVES ME CORRECT! It was Pheem who sent those thugs to smash up Than’s place. This is a really different role for Offroad compared to Century of Love! I can’t wait to see how this turns out!
The next day in the office, Pheem walks in with his shiny new bodyguard, and already his life is endangered once again as the elevator they’re both in malfunctions. It’s here we find out that Pheem kinda has claustrophobia, after Jet locked him inside a room when they were kids. My goodness, this really is full-blown soap opera! Pheem passes out, and the next time we see him, he’s recuperating in a hospital.
Once Pheem is awake, he’s a little curt with Than when Than tries to pry about his past with Jet. But Than takes it in stride and tries to make Pheem see that they’re not so different, as he also used to suffer from panic attacks back when he was first accused of taking a bribe.
ALSO DID SOMEBODY SAY PANIC?

That whole talk definitely brought Pheem and Than closer together, making the odds of them getting ~physically closer together~ even better.
Meanwhile, Jet is playing golf with Thanet and Thanet is not happy with Jet. If his little attack goons had succeeded, it would have reflected badly on the hospital. Pheem has also succeeded in securing meetings with Singaporean businessmen for Thanet, which infuriates Jet even more.
Back in the office, Pheem and Than continue to look into the Fentanyl Jet is selling, with their research temporarily interrupted by Arisa bringing them coffee. Pheem does not trust her, and throws away the coffee she gave him and Than. He then flirts with Than to keep him from asking any more questions about his family dynamic, which is interrupted by a call from one of Than’s policemen friends. The friend provides them with a lead on a party being held at a safehouse in Srinakarin, which is just 20 minutes away from the Suvarnabhumi Airport according to Google Maps, so I’m guessing this is still within Bangkok.
The plan is for Pheem to join the party and get a bottle of Fentanyl, since it would show the manufacturing info of the drug, which they can compare to Thanavej Hospital’s purchase order. Unfortunately, they did not think this through enough because they don’t have the wristband required to enter the party.
While Pheem and Than are in Srinakarin, Jet is in a sauna.

Jet is the one supplying the Fentanyl for the party in Srinakarin, and he instructs his bodyguard to make sure that none of the drugs there can be traced back to him. He does all of this with his tits out, by the way.
Back to Pheem and Than, they still haven’t figured out how they’re going to get the required wristband, and it’s only through sheer dumb luck that an inebriated partygoer with the required wristband shows up and Pheem gets himself one. After swapping shirts with Than — who thought that Pheem was asking for something else when he asked him to take his shirt off — Pheem is able to enter the White Party, which any homo knows was started by the gays, let’s be real here.
And there’s some pretty gay stuff going on inside the party! Thun flirts with the organizer, who’s been pictured with Jet before, and gets his butt squeezed because of course. There’s also other homos in the party, and drug use is shown, and I will fully admit that I haven’t seen every Thai BL, but I think this is the first time I’m seeing this much ~adult activity~ in a show? Maybe KinnPorsche has more, but I haven’t watched it yet. Unrealistic scene of shooting up in this show, though. You can’t do it like that! Also, I’m not an expert or anything, but isn’t Fentanyl a downer? What happens with the guy who takes the drug isn’t supposed to happen.
That nitpick aside, Pheem finds himself in trouble when the guy Jet’s been selling the Fentanyl too punches him and injects him with it. Pheem almost gets raped, but thankfully, Than swoops in to save the day and gets Pheem out of there. Unfirtunately, Jet’s bodyguard has also arrived to clean up the mess and while he doesn’t catch Pheem, he does see that Pheem was at the party and probably got himself a bottle of the Fentanyl Jet had been selling from the hospital. He starts to tail Pheem’s car, but a mysterious motorcyclist helps Pheem and Than lose him. I thought that the motorcyclist would stay a mystery for longer, but turns out it’s Arisa’s bodyguard! All the moves the siblings are making against each other has me seated.
Than finally gets Pheem back to his apartment, and after getting groped a little, manages to get Pheem in the tub so he can shower him. While Pheem is in a Fentanyl haze, we get to see another memory from his childhood where he’s saved from bullies by another kid who calls himself Thunderman and I would bet my miniscule savings Thunderman is “Than”derman.
If any of you guys like what I do, feel free to leave me a tip!
