We’re getting closer and closer to the end of the season. Let’s watch this new episode!

After going up against Bones in the previous episode, Paige Three is sent home. Nothing will get in the way of Bones’ winner edit! That said, Bones is really sad about Paige’s departure, which I feel the production knew would happen, which is why they set the two of them against each other.

Meanwhile, there may be a little friendly friction among the Celts, as Elle and Bonnie both have two badges, while Catrin still has none. This may just mean that it’s Catrin going home this episode, just saying. Especially when she says in the confessionals that she’s going to show the queens what she can do. That’s just telling the production to send you home at this point.

The next day, Ru and the queens welcome the Celebrity Huns, which is most definitely only a UK thing because I have no idea who they are. OTHER THAN CHARLOTTE CHURCH BECAUSE I KNOW WHO CHARLOTTE CHURCH IS. Obviously, this is the makeover challenge, but this time around, it’s the makeover subjects who choose who they’re going to be paired with.

There’s the requisite getting to know your partner type conversations happening once the queens get their partners, and one I found interesting was Sillexa and Shobna Gulati, because of Shobna’s inability to look at mirrors because of her acting career. I know this is me armchair psychologizing, but did it have to do with her being not white, working in a white-dominated entertainment industry?

Another conversation that caught my attention was Catrin with Diane Parish. Diane did not immediately get with Catrin’s ideas, which just tells me that Catrin is going to be in the bottom this episode and then be sent home. Production might even make it a Catrin v. Tayris lip sync just to up the tension and the drama.

Also, Mary Ann Joseph as the drag name for Bonnie Anne Clyde’s partner? Bitch. I laughed. However, that great name might not be enough, because Bonnie has a lot of work to do with regard to the outfit, since David, her partner, is a size up than the outfits she brought.

The day of the challenge, it’s still Sillexa and her conversations with Shobna that really got my attention. I did not know that about Sillexa, but also how are you a 30-year-old adult beating up 12-year-old Sillexa? Like at least be homophobic to someone your age range? My goodness, what a traumatic thing for Sillexa to go through.

When the runway starts, it’s Catrin who’s up first and…well. I really think she’s going to end up in the bottom with this look and makeover. Bones, who Catrin was being shady towards? That’s a look and makeover. She and Charlotte Church looked so good! I also really liked Tayris’ Clueless look but does it read siblings? Then again, you can make that same argument about Bones’ looks. Bonnie is the last queen to step onto the runway and by her own admission — that I agree with — the look is a little rough. It may just be a Catrin and Bonnie lip sync!

And that feeling gets reinforced by the critiques! While Elle and Tayris get negative critiques, it’s not as bad as the ones Catrin and Bonnie got from the judges. As for the winners, it’s going to be between Bones and Sillexa, and I’m leaning towards Sillexa because she had a lot of airtime this episode, and she shared that heartbreaking story of her childhood.

Also, did somebody say airtime?

OH AND I JUST REALIZED THAT IT’S THE CELTS POSSIBLY IN THE BOTTOM THREE THIS EPISODE.

The queens return to the runway, and I’m proven wrong, because Bones wins this episode! To be honest, I really did think she would win, but I thought the production was setting up Sillexa for it instead. Guess the production still knows to mislead longtime viewers!

I did the Catrin and Bonnie lip sync right, and I’m betting now that it’s Catrin going home. When the lip sync does start, it was a bit of a toss up for me to be honest. If you’re looking for comedy, I think Catrin had the edge, but Bonnie definitely out-danced her. So, it’s up to what Ru feels like this episode. And it seems like Ru was in for comedy this week because Catrin is saved! Production really told me to suck it because almost all my predictions were wrong!
