At the end of the previous episode, Suo Wei’s seduction might just be working. Will it get to the next level this episode? Let’s find out!

Suo Wei is trying to read books since he wants to be ~cultured~ like Chi Cheng, but that reading is cut short by Chi Cheng texting him, asking him what he’s doing. He says he’s reading a book, and when he asks the same question to Chi Cheng, I did not expect the gif that got sent, or that they actually aired it.

When Chi Cheng sends him a voice note, Suo Wei replies asking him what he wants, and when Chi Cheng tells him he wants to sleep with him, I think Suo Wei finally realizes he may have just bitten off more than he could chew. This was what you wanted to happen!

The next day, Chi Cheng is at Xiao Shuai’s clinic, telling Suo Wei that they need to talk. Suo Wei is being nonchalant about it, which is part of the plan. Get that man hungry for you, Suo Wei! Even when Suo Wei still gets in Chi Cheng’s car, he’s still reading a book, and trying to make it sound like he’s ~cultured~.

Suo Wei is trying to engage Chi Cheng in a ~philosophical and cultural discussion~, but Chi Cheng has an alternative topic in mind.

Unfortunately, anal anatomy is not on the table tonight, since Suo Wei has tickets to a piano performance. A piano performance that Suo Wei sleeps through, giving Chi Cheng a chance to photograph him while he’s sleeping. They then have ice cream and of course Suo Wei has that white stuff on his lips. This is a show for homosexuals, after all. And of course, Chi Cheng has to taste it on Suo Wei’s lips.

Do any of you remember Christian Bale and Winona Ryder kissing in that Little Women adaptation where they had that string of saliva connecting them after they stopped? Yeah, there was some of that action in this kissing scene.

I know there’s still 20 episodes left to this, but I am speculating that Chi Cheng knows Suo Wei isn’t gay, or at least hasn’t realized that maybe he’s into guys to. I think that’s partly why he’s just being so straightforward; it’s to scare Suo Wei off. But I also don’t question that Chi Cheng just wants to have sex. He said so himself!

Chi Cheng follows Suo Wei into the clinic and tries to take his pants off, because he wants to see if Suo Wei is wearing the underwear he bought for him. Underwear that Chi Cheng handpicked for Suo Wei. I MEAN. Chi Cheng then asks Suo Wei to make more of those sugar figures because his girlfriend — Yue Yue — likes them, and that does get Suo Wei to focus a bit. He doesn’t know that Yue Yue is just a beard.

While he’s making that sugar figure — he makes a pile of poop — Chi Cheng rummages through the clinic’s medicine cabinet and finds what I am assuming is an antiseptic spray? and uses it on the scratch or wound or whatever that Suo Wei has on his forehead. They didn’t show how he got that, by the way!

OH WAIT THEY SHOW IT WHEN THE CHI CHENG AND SUO WEI GO TO SLEEP. It’s from the multiple times he got hit on the head by Yue Yue’s boyfriend before Chi Cheng. Suo Wei’s reminded of the multiple times that Chi Cheng has been nice to him now, but he’s talking himself out of liking him.

The next day, Xiao Shuai asks about Chi Cheng, and whether he and Suo Wei ~did it~ the night before. He encourages Suo Wei to just let Chi Cheng stick it in, and all I got to say is Xiao Shuai doesn’t need to live vicariously through Chi Cheng is he just let Cheng Yu have a go at him. But the little talk does work, because when Chi Cheng calls Suo Wei again, telling him he wants to sleep with him, he says he’s down for it. And Chi Cheng is out of whatever bar he’s hanging out in.

Seeing as Suo Wei hasn’t explored his anal anatomy the way that Chi Cheng’s going to explore it, he turns to Xiao Shuai, who is not helpful, and just laughs at Suo Wei’s predicament. Suo Wei, you don’t have to just be a bottom. You can use your dick on Chi Cheng too! You can talk about it! And there’s more to gay sex than bottoming!

Xiao Shuai’s mirth at Suo Wei’s predicament is short-lived, however, because Cheng Yu walks on to have the dressing on his wound changed. Chi Cheng then walks in because of course, and since Chi Cheng and Cheng Yu have a rivalry going on, they’re all alpha male posturing towards each other. You know what? Chi Cheng and Cheng Yu should try it out with one another, honestly.

ANYWAYS, Chi Cheng and Cheng Yu think they’re going after the same guy, but they find out that they’re going after two different guys by pointing at the guy they like as if Suo Wei and Xiao Shuai are just products on a shelf. It’s dehumanizing, it’s degrading, it’s hot. I’m broken, okay?

ALSO CHI CHENG AND CHENG YU LIGHTING THEIR CIGARETTES TIP TO TIP. OH I’M SURE THEIR TIP HAVE TOUCHED AT LEAST ONCE.

Chi Cheng is suddenly called off because of a suspicious vegetable truck, so Cheng Yu gets to have his wound redressed at Xiao Shuai’s clinic. Suo Wei and Xiao Shuai have already decided to use Cheng Yu to their advantage, and apparently that means Xiao Shuai getting Cheng Yu’s trust so they can get information on Chi Cheng. I mean, if Xiao Shuai put his mind to it, I don’t think it’s going to be difficult to get Cheng Yu to talk.

The next day, Chi Cheng is back at Xiao Shuai’s clinic, and he walks in on a sleeping Suo Wei who’s been reading the books Chi Cheng probably read when he was in university. Chi Cheng looks fond. He also misunderstands his and Suo Wei’s previous interactions, because Suo Wei lies and tells him that he’s liked Chi Cheng since he threw those sugar figures at him, but Suo Wei only lied about that because he thought Chi Cheng arranged all of that to embarrass him and keep Yue Yue. What a tangled web of lies.

Chi Cheng is being very aggressive and since I am a broken homosexual man I find it hot and then he manages to sus out that Suo Wei’s never been with a man before. When Chi Cheng asks him how he knows he likes men if he’s never been with one before, Suo Wei says he’s not sure he likes men either, but he does like Chi Cheng. And boy do I bet that got Chi Cheng hard. Like adamantium hard. He kisses Suo Wei and then we get a shot of the sunset. Did they do it?

Meanwhile, Xiao Shuai is wondering what the connection is between Chi Cheng and Cheng Yu. A connection he could have found out if he just talked to Cheng Yu, but he blocks him on…WeChat, I assume? That’s what they use in China, right? But Cheng Yu is nosy and knows his way enough online that he finds out that Xiao Shuai is looking to ~make men fall for him~. At least Cheng Yu is sure that Xiao Shuai is gagging for it.

Xiao Shuai is at least gagging to hear about having sex, because he wanted to know the details when he thought Chi Cheng and Suo Wei did it. The two of them only kissed, but it’s enough for Suo Wei to get a fever. Baby, what are you going to do when he bends you over and rails you?
