Ron Watches RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 7 Episode 9

Bonnie gets sent home in the previous episode after winning her second badge two episodes before, which just shows no one is safe. Who’s getting sent home this time around? Let’s find out!

Catrin is surprised that she shantayed in the previous episode, and quite honestly, so was I! To be fair, the previous lip sync could have gone either way, depending on Ru’s preferences, and it looks like Ru was feeling a bit of comedy that day and sent Bonnie home. If Ru felt like doing a little dance, it would have been Catrin who sashayed.

DID SOMEBODY SAY DO A LITTLE DANCE.

Stream it on Spotify too!

As the queens sit down to rest their hooves, as Bones said, the discussion moves to Elle never having had to lip sync…which maybe foreshadows that she might just be lip-syncing this week. I mean, why else would you bring that up, honestly? It’s Chekov’s gun so prominently displayed!

Before the show starts, I think Tayris is going to make it to the finale, but won’t be the final winner. It’s going to look really bad, especially after that little Twitter debacle, if it’s going to be an all-white finale. OR maybe that Twitter debacle was preparing us for an all-white finale. Oh dear.

The next day, Ru tells them that this week’s Maxi Challenge is a Karma is a Bitch comedy roast, so Catrin is going to win this one and it’s going to be Bones and Tayris at the bottom? I guess they really are sending Tayris home and having an all-white finale. Oh my.

Bones and Catrin are determining the order of the roast this episode, and they want to be first and last in the order, respectively. Sillexa, Elle, and Tayris don’t really care where they’re put, because as Sillexa points out, if your set is crap, it’s going to be crap wherever you’re put. The final order ends up being Bones, Elle, Sillexa, Tayris, and Catrin, with very little drama involved. Peace at last!

The pre-roast discussion, aside from how they think they’re going to do, goes to which one of these five queens can’t take a joke, and it looks like Catrin is the one. But that’s just a little moment because extra special guest judge Sophie Willan walks in to help the girls out, and just like Bones, I really liked her anchoring tip! I’m gonna use that too whenever I feel nervous!

Bones is up first and while she won’t be winning — I think — she does well! Safe, for sure! Elle might be a contender for the top, while Sillexa…well, prepare to lip sync with those titties, girl! Tayris is a good dancer! BUT MAYBE SILLEXA IS GONNA PUSH THROUGH BECAUSE CATRIN. Because that was painful. I legit fast forwarded through it when she started talking about Bones because I couldn’t watch it. After all of this, Bones might just win the whole thing!

The runway theme is English Garden Realness and if Catrin’s set wasn’t enough, that outfit is definitely sending her to the bottom. I’m not a fashion queen, and I actually thought it was…an adequate dress made of material that is on her body, but it was definitely outshined by the rest of the girls.

The queens come back and wouldn’t you know it, Bones wins this challenge. I told you that when she lip-synced against Paige in the seventh episode, that was her moment of vulnerability. She’s going to win the whole season, for sure.

It’s Tayris and Catrin in the bottom and…Tayris is sent home. Well.

If any of you guys like what I do, feel free to leave me a tip!
