At the end of the previous episode, Pheem was looking very much like the killer of Jet’s mom. But is he really? Let’s find out in this episode!
At the start of the episode, Pheem’s looking not like a killer, as the media loves this new executive in the health industry. Thanavej stocks are rising, and Arisa’s got a sour face on. Calling it now, she’s the one that killed Jet’s mom. Can’t blame her for the sour face though, because she’s once again being looked over because of a man. Also, I love that a woman is not a romantic villain in this show?
Over at Pheem’s aunt’s house, we find out that Than is still very much alive! They did it with an anesthetic that makes it seem like he’s dead, and Than had a bulletproof vest on when Pheem shot him. If I were Thanet’s bodyguard, I would have checked for an exit wound, but that’s Thanet’s problem and not mine.
Jet finally makes an appearance in Bangkok, immediately confronting him and shouting like he always does. Before he can kill Pheem, Thanet and his bodyguard disarm him and since Pheem is the child bringing in the money, he doesn’t care what Jet thinks. In fact, he even goes so far as to say that maybe Jet’s mom deserved this because she killed Pheem’s mom before, and Thanej definitely isn’t going to win any Father of the Year awards any time soon. And it only strengthens Jet’s resolve to kill Pheem.

Meanwhile, Pheem turns to his aunt for some help with the death of Jet’s mother. She’s not having any of it since…well, everything that Pheem’s done or let happen, but eventually relents. I really think Pheem needs to understand that while he may not have directly taken part in these killings, he let them happen. There’s still blood on your hands. He also wants to know how Than is doing, but his aunt’s not saying anything about that.
And what’s Than doing? Looking at pictures of him and Pheem during their date. Despite Pheem shooting him, Than’s still not over him. Damn, that one time you guys had sex must have been something. But he does end up deleting all their pics together, so the sex must have been something, but not everything.
Elsewhere in Bangkok, Jet’s about to board a jet.
His dad’s bodyguard isn’t making things any easier by taunting Jet, and Jet’s bodyguard has to step up and coax him onto the plane. Honestly, if I were Jet? I’d spend the rest of my days in Da Nang with my hot bodyguard! It’s not like he’s cut off from the money. He’s just not the head of the company!
Back at Thanavej, Pheem confronts Arisa as he’s figured out that it was her that killed Jet’s mom. Of course, she denies it, and Pheem dares her to do whatever she wants because she’s not going to bring him down. Pheem’s going to…defy gravity.
Jet and Arisa may not bring him down, but they can definitely shoot at him, which is what Jet’s bodyguard is looking to do with his sniper rifle. BUT! Arisa’s bodyguard manages to stop him and tells him to send a message to Jet to meet up and conspire against Pheem. Jet still delivers that one piece of acting that he does and he’s lucky I find him so hot because otherwise? I’d be tired. Jet still doesn’t know that it was Arisa who killed his mom and not Pheem.
Pheem doesn’t even know he has to worry about those two, because at the moment, he has to contend with Than’s cop buddies, who confront him at the launch of his “Mind Behind Bars” project that offers mental health support for people in jail. Glad to see these guys standing up for their bro! Although they could have picked a better time to do it, because right as they leave, Arisa sets her plan in motion and Pheem gets abducted.
Jet’s got Pheem, and he’s slapping him around while doing his screaming bit and honestly if you just wanted someone to slap around while screaming, I’m down. Sorry, I just find the guy playing Jet hot, okay? In the midst of all that slapping, Pheem agrees that he’s gotten everything Jet had, but he still isn’t happy, and I’m sorry, I’m just not into the “money isn’t going to make you happy” mood right now.
ANYWAYS. Pheem asks Jet to just do it and kill him, but in comes Than to save the day! Than takes Pheem to a safe house of some sort and we find out that a dinosaur keychain he gave him when they were still together has GPS installed in it, which is how he found out where Pheem is being kept. I don’t know how healthy it is to have a literal tracker on your partner but he’s a policeman so I’ll just let it go.
As expected, Arisa frames Jet for Pheem’s kidnapping, providing documents to Thanet that show Jet immediately flying back to Bangkok after arriving in Da Nang. That’s some quick turnaround so I’m guessing the family has their own private jet because rebooking flights is not that easy! Thanet has Jet abducted for that, and Jet arrives just in time to see Thanet beating up his boyfriend bodyguard with a golf club. It’s a wonder any of his children are functioning in society!
Just as Thanet’s about to smash Jet’s head in with a golf club — what is wrong with you?!? — Pheem arrives and tries to initiate a ~family~ talk but Jet is too far gone, especially after his dad orders that his boyfriend bodyguard be killed. He chases Pheem around the house, shooting after him, and during a struggle in one of the rooms, Jet ends up shooting Thanet. Lemme tell you, my mouth was agape.
If any of you guys like what I do, feel free to leave me a tip!
