I thought they wouldn’t have a reunion episode and would go straight to the finale after the previous episode, and while I don’t usually recap the reunion episodes…might as well, I guess?
The first thing that Supremme brings up is whether the queens thought the top four would consist of what it consists with now — Satin Greco, Nix, Margarita Kalifata, and Laca Udilla. Supremme then brings up video of them picking their top four and while Satin getting the most votes isn’t a surprise, Nix getting none is…a surprise. She didn’t even vote for herself! Laca also didn’t get a lot of votes, and I thought that the show would wring some drama out of that, but they quickly move on to showing the audience the queens’ casting videos.
We then get to see them getting the call that they’ve been cast and it was a little bittersweet seeing Alexandra tell her mom that their lives are going to change for the better after this. I really hope it does!
There’s a bit about the hearts distributed throughout the competition, but of course, the real meat of this sequence is when the fight between Krystal and Nix is brought up. You would think that there would be a blow-up about this, but it’s actually when they look back at the Snatch Game episode that another argument breaks out — between Krystal and Dafne. Supremme, at least, is very understanding, saying that the show is a competition and that what you feel in the moment isn’t necessarily representative of who you are outside the competition.
We then get to look back at the episode four argument over the song “Hater”, which is hilarious in retrospect because the group that chose the song nobody wanted ended up winning the episode. And I did not expect the tension between Denébola and Margarita!
After that, we get a collection of Alexandra saying that she works six times a week in Barcelona. She also sent home three girls, so I think she’s earned the title of lip sync assassin. We also get the first award of the night for Miss Lost Look and…well, some of those looks deserve to be lost. I did like Krystal, Ferrxn, and Denébola’s looks. Ferrxn wins not just the title, but €1,000 as well! That’s P67,820 based on current exchange rates!
Krash Kosmetics also awards the Miss Makeup title to Alexandra del Raval, who competed against looks from Denébola, Nix, and Dafne Mugler. Aside from the title, Alexandra also gets a set of Krash Kosmetics, so at least that’s her makeup expenses solved!
We then get the queens voting for Miss Congeniality, and it’s…Nori, despite being on the show the least amount of time! At least she’s going away with something! Specifically, €3,000 or P203,460 based on current exchange rates!
