At the end of the previous episode, Jimin and Jungkook were having dinner at a swanky place in Zermatt, Switzerland. Let’s see what they got up to in this episode!
Jimin and Jungkook walk off the meal they just had, and as a poor person from the ~Global South~, I am a little bit jealous of the cleanliness and orderliness of these Swiss streets. They get back to their swanky accommodations and decide to spend some time on the balcony to cool off after their walk. I do find it a little funny that Jimin is complaining about the prices when they can probably afford it.
Once they’ve had enough of the balcony view, they go inside and call Namjoon and I am so endeared? It’s just a short chat, but it’s just reassuring to see them still enjoy each other’s company. Then they start practicing Hobi’s Killin’ It Girl choreo and again, so endearing.

Then we get the hilarious sequence of the phone AI refusing to converse with Jungkook? He is a little baby boy I wanna cradle.
The next morning, the guys have breakfast in their room. Lemme just say, bread for breakfast? Not for me. Or more accurately, just bread for breakfast? No, no, no. I’m more of a Jungkook breakfast eater, except Jungkook’s got a banging body and I do not.
After their breakfast, we get their itinerary for the day: kickbike, hiking, paragliding, dinner, and visiting a Swiss pub. Let’s start the day!
And lemme just say? The editing while they were heading to the Matterhorn view deck? I wish I knew how the young people manage to get screenshots and screen captures from Disney+ because I thought the edits were funny. Anyways, they get to the Matterhorn view deck and I am such a fatty because the only thing going through my mind as they look at it is “That’s the mountain on the Toblerone packaging.”
They then get on the kickbikes to descend from the view deck and this is my first time actually seeing a kickbike. Also, the bell that’s on the kickbike is driving me crazy. Also, I can just imagine myself falling flat on my face while on that thing. You all think Jimin has a difficult tie on that bike? Finance my trip to Switzerland and I’ll show you guys something worse. But surely, that’s not the only way to go down from there? What if you’re elderly? I can’t imagine grandmas on those kickbikes. And yes, I am an old, eldritch creature. See, even Jungkook got injured! He brushes it off, but he’s young and buff and strong. I’m old, weak, and tired.
After that trip down, Jungkook plays a little prank on Jimin and the staff and then takes a little nap in the couch of their accommodations. Then we get the CGI shirt on Jimin again and I’m like…what happened? You were A-OK with being shirtless back in the first episode? Anyways, they get a little nap and then barely make it to the train to their next destination, which is the Rotenboden Station for paragliding.
But before they get to where the paragliders are, they get to stop at the Riffelsee Lake, which really is a spectacular destination, at least from what we’re shown. I’d take a bunch of pictures too if I was there. And Jungkook just taking photos of all the pretty flowers? You keep insisting that you’re not cute, but all the things you do are so cute.
They then get to the paragliding place and…baby, you are not getting me on that thing. I’m with you, Jimin. It’s freaking scary! I am so with you on this, and if you’d decided not to do it, I would have been right there with you. But of course, Jungkook takes to it like it’s nothing. The view is beautiful, not going to lie, but the only way I’ll be comfortable being that high up is with the walls of an airplane around me.
And then Jungkook wants a more ~dynamic~ experience and then the paragliding instructor has them swinging up in the air? Bitch, I would have died on the spot. I would have soiled myself. I would have been screaming “No!” like Jimin. But props to Jimin for still pushing through despite the fear. Also, props to the instructors because those landings looked so soft! Jungkook even wants to get a paragliding license in the future, but I am putting my faith in Hobi who so wisely pointed out in that one Weverse Live that it’ll be a miracle if Jungkook follows through with it.
Of course, after that paragliding session, it’s no surprise that the guys are hungry. And not just plain hungry, it’s a longing for Korean spice hungry. For the guys, that means ramyun with extra buldak sauce. Which I already know I won’t be able to eat because even the mild Jin ramyun flavor had me sweating.
It looks like Jimin is worried about his stomach and while they’ve got the CGI shirt on it, it can’t possibly be anything more than a little belly. But then I realize how horrible stan Twitter can be so I guess I understand the need for the CGI shirt.
Now they’re off to a Swiss pub for beers and whiskey, two drinks I’ve tried and never really liked. AND THEN JUNGKOOK WAVES AT AN ARMY WHO’S OUTSIDE THE PUB. HOW DID HE KNOW AND HOW DID SHE KNOW? LUCKY ARMY EITHER WAY.
After the sweet encounter, we get a little bit of Army life — the military one — stories from Jimin and Jungkook, who got their share of scars and stitches while int here. And then Jimin shares about the first time he liked someone who wasn’t Korean, which was when they went on that month-long trainee program in the States. He would have been 15 or something! Unfortunately, he couldn’t talk to her because he didn’t know English. They then sing “The Truth Untold” because of course.

After a little discussion about singing, Jimin pays for their pub night with his card, a new arrangement they negotiated with the staff. They get to use their card once, and if the staff is included, and their total bill for the pub night is CHF349 or P25,712 based on current exchange rates. THAT’S A MONTH’S SALARY FOR SOME PEOPLE.
Back at the accommodations, WE GET TO SEE MORE OF JUNGKOOK’S NEW TATTOOS. Oh baby.
The next day, their itinerary is skiing, snowboarding, grocery shopping, dinner, and a torchlight tour. But they need to wake up first before all of that can happen, and it’s Jungkook’s foot that wakes up first, when the first of his three alarms goes off. And none of those three alarms succeed in waking him up. Oh, Jungkook.
As stated in their itinerary, skiing and snowboarding are the first activities of the day, and they’re doing it in the shadow of the Matterhorn. Damn. Just like in episode seven of season one, Jungkook just takes to snowboarding quickly. Unlike the first season, Jimin has an easier time with skiing this time around.
