The end of the previous episode saw Chi Cheng admitting to Suo Wei that he’s never wanted to sleep with anyone so much. Is this the episode where Suo Wei’s anal anatomy gets explored? Let’s find out!
No one’s anal anatomy is getting explored at the moment, as Chi Cheng’s dad is notified that dozens of snakes at the den were bitten to death. He instructs his minions to move the snakes out by dawn, but I don’t think Chi Cheng is worried about them at the moment because he’s in bed with Suo Wei, and Suo Wei just told Chi Chen that he likes him. He gets a cuddle from Chi Cheng as a reward!
Later that night, Chi Cheng gets a call from a minion telling him that it looks like his snakes are being moved tonight, and internally he’s saying that Suo Wei won’t have to suffer anymore once he gets his snakes back. Chi Cheng leaves, not knowing that Suo Wei also has people watching the snake den, and is also on the way there.
The white truck carrying the snakes are accosted, and both Chi Cheng and Cheng Yu are there. What? I thought it was going to be Suo Wei. Lots of men spring out of the white truck, and there’s an all-out brawl between the combined forces of Chi Cheng and Cheng Yu against the forces of Chi Cheng’s dad. This is way too dramatic for snakes and I kinda live. It’s not like this show has been subtle at any point. Its opening scene in the first episode had all the bad boy tropes!
After they dispatch the third party goons, it’s now Chi Cheng’s group against Cheng Yu’s group, with Suo Wei’s group taking advantage of the situation to take the snakes. There’s more than one occasion where Chi Cheng could have dealt a blow on Cheng Yu but he doesn’t take it, for reasons that aren’t explained yet. There’s also the fact that Chi Cheng’s yellow constrictor is currently constricting Suo Wei. Chi Cheng’s left with no choice but to kill the snake, even if the snake came from his ex, Wang Shuo,
Chi Cheng, along with Cheng Yu and Xiao Shuai, take Suo Wei to the hospital. Cheng Yu can’t stop looking at Chi Cheng, and offers to take care of the yellow snakes corpse. Chi Cheng doesn’t care anymore, and it looks like even Cheng Yu is feeling a little guilty about how everything went down. The doctor finally emerges to tell them that Suo Wei’s going to be okay, and maybe I’m stupid but did Suo Wei really need to go to what looks like surgery for asphyxiation?
Cheng Yu’s taken Xiao Shuai home, but he’s pretty shaken up by what Chi Cheng did. His minion points out that it’s looking like Chi Cheng’s truly in love with Suo Wei, and that now Cheng Yu can drop Xiao Shuai since Chi Cheng won’t steal his guys anymore, but maybe Cheng Yu’s really fallen for Xiao Shuai as well.
Back at the hospital, Chi Cheng is still waiting for Suo Wei to wake up. He looks like he hadn’t slept all night, and he confirms this when Xiao Shuai asks. When the doctor asks who Suo Wei’s family is, it’s Chi Cheng who steps up. All of this is happening while Yue Yue is waiting for confirmation on the death of Chi Cheng’s other snake, and she accidentally lets it slip in front of Chi Cheng’s main minion. She apparently did this right on time because Chi Cheng’s man is there to break up with her.
Suo Wei finally wakes up when Chi Cheng isn’t there, and of course the first thing he worries about is money. He then asks about Chi Cheng, and Xiao Shuai tells him that not only did Chi Cheng kill his beloved snake for him, he also stayed up all night watching over him. Xiao Shuai tells him he should make it up to Chi Cheng, and I think the best way to do that is to let Chi Cheng explore Suo Wei’s

We then find out that Suo Wei’s got broken bones, so I guess the surgery was warranted. Chi Cheng apologizes for not killing the snake earlier and then makes a promise that Suo Wei won’t ever get hurt again.
Meanwhile, Yue Yue is at Chi Cheng’s parents’ house, appealing to his mother about the break up and telling her that she’s put up with Chi Cheng’s snakes for as long as she could. Which is fair! If you didn’t know she was just angling for Chi Cheng’s money and status. Chi Cheng’s sister, on the other hand, is a different matter altogether. Chi Cheng’s mom may have been fooled, but she isn’t.
Where’s Chi chen while all of this is going down? Watching over Suo Wei at the hospital. But also at the hospital is his dad, who sees him watching over Suo Wei and refusing to let go of his hand. Is this going to be a parents disapproving of homosexuality storyline? It kinda is? Chi Cheng’s father gives up on the snakes and making Chi Cheng work, but he’s insisting that Chi Cheng have a woman around him, even if it isn’t Yue Yue. Chi Cheng won’t do it, and even says that he’s going to start his own art installation business with his ~friend~. I hate to be the no-fun dad here, but that really doesn’t sound like a business that’s going to free you from the shackles of your controlling parents.
The next day, Chi Cheng’s minion has been doing some thinking, and he’s figured out Suo Wei’s entire plan, or at least realized that Suo Wei was around when Chi Cheng’s mom started pushing for marriage and the snake situation turned into whatever it turned to. Sorry, still not getting the snake plotline! But it turns out that Chi Cheng knew all along and didn’t care. Oh Suo Wei, honey, let Chi Cheng explore your

already!
Back in the hospital room, Suo Wei ropes Chi Cheng’s minion in his plan to reveal Yue Yue’s true colors. The plan is to give Yue Yue Chi Cheng’s card and see what she does with it. If she goes wild with it, then she isn’t really repentant about trying to kill Chi Cheng’s snake, and Chi Cheng’s minion goes along with the plan and even tells Suo Wei that Chi Cheng will be his sooner or later.
Yue Yue does as expected and goes on a shopping spree with Chi Cheng’s money despite not being in a relationship with him anymore, and Chi Cheng’s sister finds out about it thanks to Chi Cheng’s minion. She lets her mother know about it, and while she does look troubled, I don’t know if she’s troubled enough to not support Yue Yue anymore. But I guess it worked! The next time Yue Yue visits, she gets the cold shoulder and is given back the scarf that she bought Chi Cheng’s mom.
Meanwhile, the communist homosexuals are going through their own things. Chi Cheng and Suo Wei are being “cute”, with Suo Wei having to be carried by Chi Cheng to get a butt injection. Honestly, this show’s characters lean so much into tropes that I have to roll my eyes sometimes, but I just keep in mind that it was the premise set right from the beginning. It’s not like they were keeping it a secret.
The other pair of communist homosexuals — Xiao Shuai and Cheng Yu — haven’t seen each other for quite a bit, and Xiao Shuai thinks it’s because Cheng Yu’s found someone new. He tells himself that it’s better because now he can have some peace and quiet, but guess who’s smiling when Cheng Yu rolls up?
