Ron Watches Semantic Error Episode 2

Jaeyeong and Sangwoo finally met in the previous episode, so now we just need to sit back and relax and see how things percolate between these two. Let’s get into it!

Jaeyeong reassures Sangwoo that he’s here not just to end their feud, but to also work on the game that Sangwoo’s been developing. Sangwoo’s not receptive to it at all, saying Jaeyeong approached him under false pretenses, and doesn’t want to continue working with him. Jaeyeong isn’t taking no for an answer, and Sangwoo isn’t changing his mind either, so it’s like an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. Jaeyeong then asks Sangwoo about the things he hates, and then tells him to ~brace himself~.

Am liking the height difference.

The next day, Sangwoo is putting up posters looking for another designer since working with Jaeyeong isn’t going to happen, and look who’s also looking for a designer? Jihye the change girl. Sangwoo gives her back change for the money she gave him the previous episode, and Jihye responds by asking for his number. He gives it to her when she says they can share info about designers with each other, but I think Jihye has other plans.

Meanwhile, Jaeyeong is moving into his new smaller apartment, and one of his friends has brought him something that he hates but is asking for now. He tells them that they’ll find out why he asked for it when the new semester starts, so it’s obviously connected to Sangwoo.

The next morning, we get to see Sangwoo’s perfectly regimented life, where everything happens right on schedule and his clothes look almost exactly the same. It looks like it’s the beginning of the new semester, so we’re going to see what exactly Jaeyeong has planned for him.

And it looks like Jaeyeong is living right next to him? Because his schedule is delayed by two minutes because boxes from his next door neighbor blocked his door, and guess who just moved in during the previous scene? Both their homes look the same too. Either way, he makes up for the lost time and still arrives on schedule to get his favorite drink from the vending machine…but unfortunately sees that there’s none of it at the moment. Because Jaeyeong bought all of it. Jaeyeong’s also taken Sangwoo’s favorite seat in class, and then walks in dressed all in red because Sangwoo hates that color. Oh the pettiness.

The show then lets us see how Sangwoo thinks in flow charts, and I like this cute way of showing it. They’re really making sure that they stretch the tiny budget this show definitely got. Sangwoo ultimately decides to just ignore Jaeyeong, which is the same thing he’s doing with Jihye. Sangwoo’s ignore Jaeyeong plan is off to a rocky start though, because Jaeyeong sits with him even during lunch, in full view of Jihye and her nameless friend.

Sangwoo’s ignore Jaeyeong plan is definitely not working, as his coldness just tantalizes Jaeyeong. His words, not mine! They also get paired up during French class and Sangwoo’s request to be paired with another person is denied by the professor. Sangwoo’s even more frustrated because there technically isn’t anything wrong with everything Jaeyeon’s doing, so there’s nothing he can do about it. When Sangwoo finds out that Jaeyeong is now his neighbor, he tells him that what he’s doing isn’t working, which Jaeyeong just takes as encouragement.

The next day, Sangwoo arrives even earlier than usual, resulting in a nosebleed that Jihye just happens to see and allows her to tend to him. Jaeyeong witnesses this too, but I don’t know yet how they’re going to play this. Either way, Sangwoo gets his preferred seat, and Jaeyeong realizes that hey, this guy’s kinda cute.

Jaeyeong also takes it as an opportunity to draw on his face as he’s sleeping, which I’m counting as foreplay. After washing the stuff on his face off, Sangwoo confronts Jaeyeong and ask him what he wants from him, and Jaeyeong says “I want you to suck my dick.” that he wants Sangwoo to take off his hat.
