Ron Does Stuff

In the previous episode, we found out about Finn and Dane’s past from Finn’s point of view. With the five-year war between their tribes about to end, we had the ~privilege~ to hear Hudson Williams act out a celebratory wank at the prospect of peace and a reunion with Connor Storrie’s Dane. Dane is also the title of this episode, so let’s see what Dane’s point of view is. Let’s go!

We won’t be seeing episode one from Dane’s perspective, because episode two starts with Dane joining the celebrations of the end of the war. And since this is Dane’s POV, its Connor Storrie’s voice that gets the starring role and hearing him narrate makes me look forward to future roles for him that don’t involve a Russian accent. NOT THAT I DON’T APPRECIATE THE RUSSIAN ACCENT.

Hearing Dane talk, it looks like the truce came about because the Lunare were being pushed back by the Solari, but I’d like to hear Finn’s thoughts on this. And because a friend already put the idea in my head, I couldn’t help but think that this part of the episode sounded a lot like episode two of Heated Rivalry when Ilya was ignoring the girl that was making eyes at him at the club.

There’s also father issues on display, but at least not as heavy in Heated Rivalry. Just a little sprinkling of neglect! That neglect is what spurs him to be an overachiever, especially during the war, but now that he’s ~experienced~ Finn, he’s what he thinks of even in this moment of victory.

And look at that, I thought we wouldn’t be looking back at the events of the first episode, but we kinda sorta do, as Dane recalls when Finn first caught his eye, and when they first interacted. Of course, what else is a roguish fairy prince to do when he’s attracted to his straitlaced counterpart? Loosen those laces, of course.

We then get to hear Dane’s version of the scene in episode one where Hudson says “thick, erect cock”, and it’s Connor’s turn to say “erect cock”. No complaints on my part! And then we get the shadow of a heterosexual sex scene because Dane thinks that Finn hates him so why bother? I say the shadow of a heterosexual sex scene because another man enters the villa the bedroom to join Dane and the fairy woman he’s sleeping with. But sorta like episode four of Heated Rivalry, Dane is thinking of Finn even while he’s with these two people.

As Dane thinks back to his and Finn’s time together, we also find out that Finn is being pressured by his father to find a wife, and Dane gets his feelings hurt because maybe he’s catching feelings for Finn. But rather than confront the situation, he and Finn choose the easy out — sex. And it’s first time butt sex for Finn!

Like I said in the previous episode, this feels way more explicit than the previous celeb ones. Still not as explicit as the ones made by the non-celeb Quinn people, but still feels a notch over the other celeb ones. I say feel because I can’t listen to two of the Quinn originals side by side and I might actually be wrong. But it’s hard to think about that when Hudson and Connor are being filthy in your ear. Hudson is saying “You can ride me harder” in your ear, for goodness sake.

By the end of this episode, everything is set up for an ~explosive~ reunion between Finn and Dane. I can’t wait to see hear how things turn out!
