I thought I’d been neglecting this show because my work has been so busy for most of January, but would you look at that, it’s only been a week since I wrote about the previous episode, where Sangwoo called Jaeyeong hyung for the first time. Oh, I bet Jaeyeong got hard with that one.
So, after calling him hyung, Sangwoo asks Jaeyeong to work on the game with him together. Can’t you at least diddle his nipples first or something? Of course, Jaeyeong isn’t a pushover and grills Sangwoo about his sudden change. Jaeyeong even told Sangwoo not to call him hyung, so you know he’s serious. Sangwoo’s going to have to work to get Jaeyeong back. I do love a good grovel.
Jihye, unfortunately, is the collateral damage of this upcoming grovel. Sangwoo’s already thinking of how to grovel while Jihye’s thinking about their next date, which probably isn’t going to happen any time soon. You’re going to be sitting in the cuck chair, Jihye!
Back in his apartment, Jaeyeong is trying to make good on his decision to have Sangwoo grovel. Even he’s berating himself for even thinking about folding just because of the sad look in Sangwoo’s eyes when he rejected him. Make him work for it! But then he sees that Sangwoo still has the drawing he made from him back in episode two, and he starts thinking that maybe Sangwoo does care about him.
And where is Sangwoo? At school at the crack of dawn, trying to think of how best to grovel to get Jaeyeong back. His plans are sidetracked a little though, because Jaeyeong’s come to him and handed his game portfolio back to him — with some improvements added to the original drawing he made from Sangwoo. This time around Sangwoo calls Jaeyeong sunbae and I know Jaeyeong is hard again. Sangwoo tells him that he really needs him and that it has to be him and I know Jaeyeong is leaking. Sangwoo even throws in a hyung for good measure and Jaeyeong’s nipples are probably rock hard now. It was a pretty good grovel considering the budget constraints of the show, so I’m okay with Jaeyeong relenting. He tells Sangwoo that he’s going to redo the story and the design and not only does Sangwoo agree, he even gives Jaeyeong a smile. Oh, Jaeyeong is going to have Sangwoo bent over and taking it and calling him hyung.
Unfortunately, their first meeting post-grovel isn’t giving. Sangwoo reverts back to his robotic self, and even asks Jaeyeong to tell him in advance if any physical contact is going to happen. When Jaeyeong asks him why, Sangwoo can’t tell him that he’s been looking up the terms “weird bodily sensations”, “abnormal desires”, and “hormone disorder” online. I mean, we do have two more episodes left so there still has to be some conflict. And also because we get that tension when Sangwoo calls Jaeyeong on the phone and now their conversation is charged, even when they’re just talking about deadlines.
There’s something that Jaeyeong’s other hoobae talks about while Jaeyeong’s working on the game that I don’t understand, but I’m guessing I’ll find out further down the line. Jaeyeong hands in his work the next day and gets Sangwoo’s approval, who tells Jaeyeong that he knew he could do it because it’s him. Oh, Jaeyeong is going to crack Sangwoo’s back, that’s for sure. Then Sangwoo gives him a pat on the head and scurries away. OH SANGWOO’S BUSSY IS GOING TO BE WRECKED.
However, that is going to have to wait because Jaeyeong and Jihye now finally meet, and it’s a meeting that Sangwoo arranged. I absolutely enjoy the fighting over territory that Jaeyeong and Jihye engage in. Of course, Jaeyeong is the one who prevails, because this show isn’t about the heteros.
Now that they’re in Jaeyeong’s studio, Sangwoo turns his bossy bottom mode on and tells Jaeyeong to clean the place up first, and he even sasses back at Jaeyeong’s friend. Jaeyeong may be cracking Sangwoo’s back when they finally do it, but Sangwoo’s the one holding the leash.
As they’re walking home after spending time in Jaeyeong’s studio, Sangwoo opens up a little about himself, telling Jaeyeong that he likes games because everyone starts on the same level, and advances based on merit. It’s enough to make Jaeyeong ask if it’s okay to pat Sangwoo’s head, and Sangwoo says he doesn’t hate it when Jaeyeong asks in advance. That’s very person with autism of you, Sangwoo! Later that night, Sangwoo can’t stop thinking about that head pat and you know what? I don’t blame him!
The next time they work together, Jaeyeong is beat and Sangwoo tells him to sleep so he can focus. Sangwoo also promises to wake him up in 30 minutes, but what Sangwoo does is just look at Jaeyeong’s face. Once again, I don’t blame him!

AND THEN SANGWOO KISSES HIM.
