Well, I didn’t catch up with this show. But I’m going to try my best to catch up by the time episode 8 comes out!
The previous episode ends with a cliffhanger — Jade being attacked by someone named Seon Jae. We don’t see the entirety of that fight because this episode opens with Jade being wheeled into the hospital with his face, of course, unblemished and Kamin looking concerned. It does look like Seon Jae knows all about Kamin, because he sends Kamin a text as Jade is wheeled into what I assume is surgery, saying that this is his welcome gift for him.
Kamin talks to Jay while Jade’s incapacitated, finding out from him that the location Jade learned from Tonkla is where the VIP-types do drugs. Jay insists that he didn’t do any drugs, and I say “Okay.”

When Jade finally comes to, he still finds time to playfully flirt with Kamin, because why not? And it obviously works because he gets a chaste kiss from Kamin. Kamin says it’s because he’s worried, and I sure hope it’s because of that, because if that’s how you kiss when you want him, I’d be pretty disappointed!
After that little sweet treat, Kamin is talking to…I’m guessing another member of the police force. They both think that Seon Jae moving like this means that he knows that the police are onto him. And the dialogue leads me to think that this isn’t their first encounter with Seon Jae. We also might get to see the Yu that Jade might have had a past with.
Back at the hospital, we get Kamin giving Jade a sponge bath because it is the fifth episode after all. We’re halfway through the season! Jade is also seeking a little more clarity from Kamin when it comes to the two of them, and I think Kamin should have simply responded, “human resources violation”.
Meanwhile, Champ, Cherreen, and Tonkla are at the police station, with Champ and Tonkla engaging in a pissing match over Chereen. Doesn’t Chereen have a say in this, at least? If I were Chereen, I’d just say NOW KISS to these two.
Kamin is capitalizing on these unstable links to get the kids to spill on whatever else it is that they know. He reveals to Cherreen that he knows she’s sleeping with Champ, and Cherreen reveals that it was basically sexual blackmail. Kamin reveals to Tonkla that he’s never going to have a chance with Cherreen, and then he reveals the CCTV footage showing Tonkla killed a guy during a hit and run. Tonkla covers up for Cherreen, and Cherreen covers up for Champ, which of course gets Tonkla heated. He reveals that Champ helped get rid of the body and that he also slept with Bell? At least that’s how I’m understanding the subtitles! They then give up Time as someone who’s doing a Seungri Burning Sun thing with women, even within his friend group.
All of that information is something we’re going to have to process later, as Kamin has now been invited by Seon Jae himself to a private dinner at Wild Hunt, basically the Burning Sun of this show. There’s a little argument between Kamin and Jade about Kamin’s safety if he goes to this private dinner alone, and of course, gets Jade to admit that he’s worried about Kamin, too.
But before we see what goes down at Wild Hunt, Jade and Kamin head to the house of Fai, the first of the friend group to die. Fai’s mother has conveniently left her room untouched, so Jade and Kamin get to look around and find out that it was Fai who first got the Truth or Dare letters, and that she killed herself. I feel like that should have gotten a bigger reaction, but anyway. We also find out that Fai was pregnant, which I feel like the coroner should have found out? Maybe stop flirting with Kamin and do your job? Kamin and Jade then connect the dots and figure out that Bell took Fai to get an abortion, and again, I feel like that’s something the coroner should have found out when examining the body.
The two of them question Jay about this, and Jay says that he didn’t know about all of this. But I’m sorry, he’s been too much of a baby the past few episodes that all I can do is say “Okay.” I don’t trust you at all, Jay!

We then find out that Jay actually slept with Fai ~by accident~. How do you accidentally stick your dick in her vagina, Jay? And stay in her vagina until completion? I’m sorry, but I am with my fellow older brother Jade on this. All Jade’s been doing the past episode is to be present in your life and all you’ve done is act like a little bitch. Jay says Jade has never listened to him properly, but the show hasn’t adequately shown that or insinuated that, so I’m sticking to my guns.
The Wild Hunt mission finally happens, and of course, circumstances happen that require Jade and Kamin to be tip-to-tip in a tight corner. And wouldn’t you know it, the circumstances just happen to be the mysterious Yu from Jade’s past. Cute, but having met Dunk in person before — yes, I will constantly bring that up — not as cute as Kamin.
The policemen continue their investigation of Wild Hunt, and in the course of it, Kamin gets accosted by one of Seon Jae’s goons. Seon Jae tells Kamin he’ll pay him 10 million — it’s not clear whether it’s baht or dollars — over two years to keep his mouth shut, and I’m thinking if you’re the preferred dealer of the rich and famous, you gotta hike up your bribe money. That’s not a lot for what I assume you’re bringing in! Also, they really had to have Korean food in front of Seon Jae to drive home that he’s Korean, as if the name wasn’t enough.
While all of that is happening over at Wild Hunt, Tonkla is about to die at the garage where he works. It looks like the killer is going to crush him under the car he’s repairing! At this point, I wanna shout out into the void that I think the killer is Jay. Probably wrong, but I’m saying it anyway!
Back at Wild Hunt, Kamin isn’t getting any progress in his attempt to arrest Seon Jae for bribery and whatever drug-related cases they can tack onto him. He’s outnumbered, even if he’s got a gun pointed at Seon Jae, and Seon Jae only agrees to cooperate if Jade wins a cage match. Because yes, Jade also got cornered by Seon Jae’s minions. Kamin is confident enough in Jade’s abilities to bet with Seon Jae: if Jade loses, he’ll resign. If he wins, Seon Jae is going to jail. There’s even a bet between Jade and Kamin. If Jade wins this fight, Kamin’s moving into his bedroom.
Oh, also Tonkla gets crushed by a car.
If any of you guys like what I do, feel free to leave me a tip!
