I complained in my post about the previous episode that the show lacks consistency when it comes to quality, but I had a realization as I began typing this. The show does have consistency. It’s consistently frustrating. Will this episode continue that? Probably!

As the kids would say, I am still on this bullshit. Episode 3 was actually better than episode 2, but I do wish that the show had a more consistent quality. This is the second season of a three season show. You gotta improve and you gotta improve fast.

It took me several days to get through the previous episode, which really isn’t a good sign, you all. That previous episode also smashed together a lot of episodes into one hour, and I’ll be honest, it only worked sometimes. But maybe this one’s better!

Well would you look at that I have time and inclination take on another episode of Netflix’s live action adaptation of Avatar the Last Airbender! Let’s jump right in!
-
I know I haven’t been regularly writing about this live action adaptation of Avatar the Last Airbender, which wasn’t my plan when I started watching the show. But life has been hectic and I can just squeeze in non-work stuff when I either have some free time or if I want to push myself. And…

I’ll be honest, my overall opinion of this live action adaptation so far is nice but ultimately unnecessary, because while there have been some interesting tweaks, it overall still doesn’t bring anything groundbreaking to the table that would justify its existence beside the animated series. And I wouldn’t consider myself a purist at all! I…
