Ron Does Stuff

I know this is very late but in my defense, I do have an actual job and last week was pretty busy for me! So now I’m struggling to catch up with the shows and books I’ve been blogging about!

The previous episode made me crave for lobster mac and cheese that I’ve never seen before, but that time is done now as Jungkook is done with promo in the United States and they are back in Korea.

As the helpful date at the start of the show tells us, this was shot almost a year ago in Jeju Island. We get video of Jungkook suggesting this location back when they were in the States, as well as his desire for Jimin to be pooping on this Jeju Island trip as well.

We also find out that Taehyung has invited himself to this particular Jeju trip as he is wont to do. He probably turned on that Tata Mic face for them to agree with him.

Anyways, they arrive in Jeju and get into a small car — relative to their size because I feel like it’d be a normal-sized car if it were me? — and it already looks like Jimin will indeed be pooping on this trip again. I have never been so intimate with Jimin’s bowels before.

Taehyung and Jungkook go into the mackerel ssambap restaurant confidently, while Jimin is still out there contemplating the sea. Is it because of the poop? Anyways, he eventually makes his way into the restaurant without us getting a definitive answer as to why he wouldn’t go in immediately.

As they wait for the food to arrive the maknaes immediately get into a skit and Jimin shares all the misfortune he’s encountered in the show’s first two episodes, what with the pooping and the elbow to the face. But that’s something Taehyung will have to think about later on as the food arrives and I have always wanted to try that grilled mackerel. Looks delicious!

Jimin is very obviously not eating and is it going to be poopy time again? I can’t believe Jimin has become Mr. Poopy Time to me now because as it turns out he’s just feeling sentimental seeing the sea again. Sorry Jimin!

It does look though that Jimin is the only one feeling that way because Jungkook and Taehyung are going in on that food. Jungkook’s even bouncing on his chair and everything like the baby that he is. Kinda wanna go out and eat now.

AND THEN WE GET JIMIN CHASING TAEHYUNG BAREFOOT ON THE STREETS OF JEJU ASKING HIM TO EAT HIS SSAM? COMEDY GOLD? GIVE THEM THEIR OWN SHOW? I wonder what random passersby would have been thinking seeing them zoom around?

The boys head off to their accommodation, with Jungkook on his motorcycle this time around. I’m really curious what type of motorcycle that is! I wouldn’t know because I can’t even ride a bike.

And as it turns out, Taehyung has never been to a drive-thru? Oh wow. Although to be fair I think I’ve ever only ordered from a drive-thru like a maximum of three times over the course of my life? I don’t have a car!

The guys also talk about how much they miss the other members, with Hobi even getting a special mention and I can take comfort in the fact that it won’t be long now until Hobi is out and free again!

Thy guys finally arrive at the villa and I wonder if these are Airbnbs or what because ARMYs are probably scoping these locations right this very moment. They gave that first In the Soop location so much business that Hybe had to build the guys their own house!

After Jungkook is done being Jungkook and has given the staff some drinks to help out in the heat, the boys lie down on the cold floor because honestly, sometimes it’s just the best way to cool off in the heat.

And another to cool off in the heat is to take a swim and how the hell are people able to get screenshots and GIFs and video of this? I can’t do it I only get a blank screen when I do it! Taehyung and Jungkook change into swim shorts and immediately target Jimin with water guns, getting him wet “front and back”. They really laid in to him Jimin’s ass was soaked in one of the shots.

While Jungkook and Taehyung enjoy the pool, Jimin is saying that his body isn’t what it used to be now that he’s nearing his thirties and I just felt my bones disintegrate because if you’re saying that Jimin, what does that make me, the crypt keeper?

Anyway, Jimin and his “old” body falls asleep on the floor and while he does that, Taehyung goes out on a ride in one of the scooters the crew has brought with them. By the time he gets back to the house Jungkook has showered and changed and now they’re in a cozy snuggle in a corner of the house while Jimin is plotting water gun revenge.

Jimin had the upper hand there for a bit with the water guns but I am so curious what Taehyung and Jungkook had off-camera that made Jimin put down the water guns. I am a nosy bitch, sue me!

After their ~water fun~ at the house, the boys head over to a climbing facility and as decrepit as my body has become the guys make doing all of the things look fun? Taehyung’s even going all in when back in the day he was scared to jump in that Run BTS episode!

He even gets a redemption jump and does it so much better this time around! Proud of you Taehyung!

The boys cap off the day with go karts and can I just say I felt incredibly nostalgic watching that? Never ridden a go kart before but seeing them just enjoying themselves, with the breeze running through their hair? I felt nostalgia and a little bit of that young whimsical air I used to feel on Sundays out with my family when I was young. It’s my ancient bones making me feel sentimental, y’all!
