Ron Does Stuff

As I’ve said in multiple posts before this one, the past work week was a doozy so now I’m catching up on everything. And yes I know that this show has already ended its run. Let’s get into this episode!

When we last left Atom and Kongthap in the previous episode, it looked like everybody was just having a great old time. The teen homos were happy, the older homos were happy, even the straights were happy. There was a whole montage and everything. But of course, that just means there’s going to be drama up ahead.

At the start of this episode Mudmee and Atom are celebrating Atom’s amorous success, having finally nabbed Kongthap as a boyfriend. He’s done a lot of the things he’s wanted to do with a partner, with just one last thing left.

He can’t share this with Mudmee, though, and actually has to rush home because he’s probably going to be PULLING THE PADGE all night long to this.

The next day, we get a product placement! I’d add a screenshot but I don’t want two images so close together without a wall of text separating them so there isn’t going to be any. Once that product placement is out of the way, it becomes very apparent that Atom is dickmatized and he hasn’t even been dicked down yet. And he wants to be dicked down but Kongthap is too dense to get it from Atom’s subtle cues.

Back to the straights, Mudmee is getting some very bad advice from her friends who are still stuck to traditional gender roles. Neither one of them gets that Half is looking to get pegged by Mudmee. He’s into that shit! Don’t take advice from these two girls. They’re not even in relationships!

Meanwhile, Kongthap is practicing basketball wearing a hoodie while his teammate is wearing layers and I know I’ve only been to Thailand once but it’s just as hot there as it is here shouldn’t you guys at least be wearing sleeveless shirts if not actually shirtless? It’s making it hard to suspend my disbelief.

Kongthap asks when a couple should have their first kiss and shares that he thinks it should be after a year or two and I’m like…girl. I’m not even the most promiscuous guy around but girl. A year or two for a kiss? Come on now.

Through some contrivance that isn’t fully explained to us, Atom and Kongthap find themselves alone in a classroom and just when you think they’re finally going to kiss Kongthap pulls back because he thinks Atom is asleep, not knowing that Atom is really awake and gagging for it. So he gives Atom a little proxy kiss instead.

Atom is a little miffed that Kongthap still hasn’t kissed him yet, but Kongthap makes up for it by inviting him over to his house to play with Mommam. Atom, he’s asking you to play with his pussy. Bring lube!

While Atom is getting closer and closer to getting dicked down, Mudmee is just ruining her chances with her damsel in distress act. He’s too dense to get it! And besides he wants to get pegged!

Back with the homosexuals, we find out that this is the episode where Ren Meguro flashes a bit of his abs in the Japanese original. Atom tries to play with Mommam but that pussy is not interested in him at all and Kongthap tells him that he’ll play with him and Atom is like oh yeah. And then Kongthap’s mom calls and says she won’t be coming home tonight and Atom is like OH YEAH. Then the whole accidentally getting the male lead’s shirt wet thing happens like it does in the Japanese original and surprise, surprise it’s the Thai version that hesitates to show even a hint of abs. Curious.

And then Kongthap also hesitates when it comes to kissing Atom and I can’t blame Atom for getting mad at all the edging. He’s not into that, Kongthap!

Their lover’s quarrel extends into the next day, which is also the school’s Sports Day. Atom doesn’t want to run with Kongthap in the three-legged race but Kongthap makes sure that Atom only runs with him. I know they’re trying to make it look that they’re not working together but maybe make their lack of coordination more believable because how they act “uncoordinated” on the show is laughable. Anyways, they end up in second place rather than in last place but that’s still not enough for Atom to forgive Kongthap.

Meanwhile, Mudmee continues to take the bad advice she’s received from her friends and pretty much hands over the volleyball match win to their opponents in the school Sports Day. Quite honestly this scene went on longer than I wanted. Yes, we get it, she’s acting incompetent, let’s move on. Then we find out Half and Mudmee are also going to compete together in a mixed badminton match and Mudmee is once again taking the worst advice and good god I don’t think I can take any more of that.

Back to the homos, Kongthap’s straight bestie rats him out to Atom and reveals that Kongthap is actually a virgin who can’t drive but is really serious about Atom.

I’m sorry but this whole Mudmee being incompetent thing really isn’t playing well with me. It’s not funny, cute, or endearing and I know that it’s not meant to be but it’s not just irritating me it’s positively frustrating me. I’m as put off by this display as I was by the background music in the first few episodes. I literally fast forwarded through these parts, not gonna lie.

Let’s get back to the pairing God intended — the gay one. Kongthap isn’t playing too well during the basketball game, and Atom cheers him up with some product placement. And he also tells Kongthap he can ask him for anything if their team wins the game and you know what that means. Anal.

Unfortunately, Kongthap gets into an accident on the court and it looks like the team didn’t win so I guess that means Atom’s bussy is off-limits. Or at least that’s what Kongthap thinks at first and only after spilling on his feelings for Atom does Atom reveal that they actually won the game and that his ass is back on the menu.

Okay maybe not his ass but he and Kongthap finally kiss!
