Ron Watches RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 7 Episode 4

We saw Viola go home in the previous episode, and now we’re going to see yet another queen go home. Let’s get into it!

Back in the Werk Room, it is immediately apparent that Nyongbella truly is feeling her oats, even if it’s yet another week where she’s in the bottom. But she’s also seeing that the queens don’t see her as a threat. Which I think is fair for the queens to think as Nyongbella hasn’t exactly been a powerhouse in the past few episodes.

As for the other queens’ possible storylines, there’s Paige’s need to win but never getting it, and Sillexa being the season’s safe queen. She wants to be seen, but often the production turns that into a bottom placement and getting sent home. Be careful what you wish for, Sillexa!

The next day, it’s not the state of the badges that the queens talk about, but the blossoming feelings between Tayris and Catrin. Like I said in the previous post, I would absolutely lean into this because Ru and production love them a love team! Sister Dick may make you sick, but if gets you £25,000? Swallow it.

Ru enters the Werk Room and gets straight to announcing the Maxi Challenge, which is an acting challenge. The queens are going to star in “Muthatuckers”, which is “a steamy three part TV series set in the glamorous world of 1980s erotic fiction.” Catrin feels she can smash this challenge, which can go both ways in a show like Drag Race!

Bones, as last week’s winner, gets to name the teams for this Maxi Challenge, and she picks Elle, Sillexa, and Paige for her team. Bonnie, Tayris, and Sally are the second team, and Chai, Catrin, and Nyongbella as the final team. Bonnie thinks Bones’ team isn’t particularly strong, so let’s wait and see if that observation is true! The runway theme this episode is Ab Fab, since Jane Horrocks is the extra special guest judge, and I cannot wait to see how many Patsy Stones I’m going to see. Even if they really should do Bubble since that’s Jane’s character on the show.

Bones is definitely getting a winner edit, because once again, other queens pick on her and her choices this episode. If it was Paige Three last week, it’s Sally and Catrin this time around. I am quite confident that Bones is going to win this season.

We get to filming and we don’t really get a lot from it, to be honest! Paige and Sillexa are the ones that sorta struggle in Bones’ team, while Sally is the one in trouble in her team. Nyongbella is in quite familiar territory again, as she’s the one who looks to be in trouble in her team. And there’s also this mystery co-star that they keep teasing!

In the Werk Room the next, we get to hear about Tayris’ heartbreaking story about being sexually abused as a child in the UK’s care system. Hearing her be so forgiving of her mother, who was the reason why she got put in the care system in the first place? Heartbreaking, but also inspiring.

The runway starts and Elle and Tayris are the only ones who do Bubble. To be fair, it wasn’t all Patsy Stones, as Sally, Chai, Nyongbella, and Catrin do different things, especially Nyongbella’s Saffy, but I do with there were more Bubbles!

Now we watch the queens’ Muthatucker episodes and also find out that Alan Carr is the guest star. I mean, they didn’t have to gas it up that much. Anyways, Bones’ team did better than I thought they would! Actually, all the teams did better than I thought they would!

Paige, Elle, Bones, and Tayris are the safe queens this episode. The critiques start and Sillexa gets some good ones in there, while Sally had a more ambiguous set. They kinda were saying they were laughing at her, and even called her accent the worst one they’ve heard. Chai is definitely going to be in the bottom, while Catrin might win!

Once the girls come back, it’s Bonnie who wins! Condragulations! I thought it was going to be Catrin, but okay! Sillexa and Nyongbella are in the bottom, and I really thought it was going to be Chai! Thank goodness, because Chai’s the lone Asian on the show right now and I want her to go a little bit further.

The lip sync starts and while it’s okay enough at the start, it gets messier near the end? I thought it was Sillexa going home, but Nyongbella did lose her shoes, and she’s been in the bottom multiple times, so it really was her time to go. Kk, bye, Nyongbella!
