Again, here’s another show that I had no interest in watching, but actually meeting the cast when they were here last year got me interested! I’ve already started on Joong and Dunk’s new show Dare You to Death, so I thought I might as well watch this as well.
Right off the bat, it looks like we’ve got a sleazy businessman at a boy bar? I was invited to one of these when I was in Bangkok years ago, but I was a young innocent waif who got to scared to go. Anyways, one of the guys there is Bison, played by Khaotung, so judging from the synopsis, he’s going to kill this dude.
But first, some singing! Of course, it’s a ruse, because now headed to the private room is Fadel, played by Joong, who I’m guessing is also going to kill this dude. He’s got two guns on the tray, which the two of them use to promptly dispatch the guy. Joong’s holding the gun a little better than Khaotung though.
The job’s done and the boys are headed home, or at least Fadel is. Bison is looking to have some fun since it’s the weekend, and it’s clear from this dynamic that Fadel is the responsible one and Bison’s the carefree brother. And since I saw that this is loosely based on William Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew, I can’t help but think of Joong as Julia Stiles and Khaotung as Larisa Oleynik.
Now we get introduced to First and Dunk’s characters, Kant and Style. Kant is a player that’s always engaging in one-night stands, and apparently Style is as well. Kant’s looking for someone new to sleep with, and wouldn’t you know it, Bison is at the same bowling alley where he and Style are.
And both Kant and Bison are pretty straightforward people! There’s no extended fliration because it looks like both of them know that they’re here for a good time and not a long time. While they head off to a hotel, Style is driving what I’m assuming is meant to be a fancy car — I don’t know anything about cars — and because he’s texting while driving, he ends up rear-ending Fadel’s car.
The two of them have an argument about driving and road safety, which is funny because this is also how their characters meet in the first episode of Dare You to Death. Since he can’t let Style near his car because there’s stuff from the assassination inside, Fadel arranges to have his car be sent to Style’s garage at a later date.
Over at the hotel, Kant and Bison are still pretty straight to the point, which is hot. The kissing is pretty great too! And I didn’t know you could show pumping on YouTube, but apparently you can!

That said, the shot from above of the pumping doesn’t make sense.
The next day, Kant wakes up in bed alone and goes back to his tattoo studio/home, where his brother’s waiting for him. There’s a Shakespeare reference because of course, and it looks like Kant really got a liking for that Bison bussy.
Meanwhile, Bison and his bussy are busy at his and Fadel’s cover, which is running a burger joint. And from the conversation between the two brothers, it looks like Bison would rather work at their burger joint rather than keep being a contract killer. It’s not really explained why they keep doing this, because if the burger joint is earning enough, why wouldn’t you retire? It also looks like someone’s spying on Bison, but we don’t know yet if it’s someone from the police or another criminal element.
Elsewhere in Bangkok — I am assuming they’re in Bangkok — Kant is sharing his night with Bison and his bussy, which he shares knocked him straight out afterwards. Style also shares his encounter with Fadel, but their discussion is cut short when Kant is called by a white man, who looks like he’s the captain of the police force? I also looked him up and it seems he’s had an entertainment career in Thailand for 25 years now. Damn. Anyways, he’s giving Kant a chance to wipe his criminal record clean by spying on two contract killers, who are of course Bison and Fadel. Looks like the person spying on Bison was from the police!
While Kant is contemplating his life choices, Fadel finally goes to Style’s garage to get his car fixed. He doesn’t have insurance and his vehicle isn’t registered, so I thought it was fair of Style to suspect him of being involved with something shady — and he is! — but Style decides to work on the car anyway.
With his mission clear, Kant visits Bison at his burger joint, and we get to see his side of the one-night stand. Looks like he enjoyed getting railed! He’s also suspicious of Kant showing up at his burger joint, but he gives up his real name anyway. We also find out that he’s not the cook between him and Fadel, just making it really obvious that this burger joint is a front. But it looks like Bison is looking to get railed again because he’s just offering himself up for delivery. They probably would have done it on the table if Fadel hadn’t walked in.
Fadel, on the other hand, has his own man problems, as Style is flirting with him at the garage, but he’s too suspicious to consider it. Even after Style tells him he’s got sensitive nipples! All Style gets for that remark is a jab with a pin, which maybe he’s into in the right context, but not right now.
Despite his brother’s warning, Bison is out on a date with Kant, and they share details about each other. However, I’m distracted by the ice cream that Bison is eating, because the continuity director did not check it at all. One shot there’s still a lot of it, the next it’s almost gone, and then the next there’s more of it again. When they get back to the burger place, Kant is squeezing that ass until Fadel walks in, and he makes it clear to Kant that he has to go through him first if he wants to do anything with Bison. You go, Julia Stiles!
Unfortunately for Fadel, Bison is determined to get his bussy wrecked again, so he heads on over to Kant’s place anyway. And now we get to the 10 Things I Hate About You of it all. Bison makes it clear that he’s staying single as long as Fadel is single, so Kant plans on setting up Fadel with Style, not knowing that the two of them have met before. Fadel’s even jabbed Style’s nipple.
Style, of course, initially doesn’t want to do it, and only agrees to do so when Kant promises to give him his dad’s car. And as he says so himself, Style just wants to see Fadel humbled. I don’t know if he’s going about it the right way though, because Style is just antagonizing Fadel when he starts with the plan. Of course, Fadel’s patience eventually runs out and he drags Style out of his burger joint. Style also leaves his wallet behind, and Fadel finds out that Style and Kant are friends. DUN DUN DUN!
I gotta say, this is pretty entertaining for a first episode, but then again, I’ve said that of a number of Thai BLs. Let’s see if they manage to keep up the quality!
If any of you guys like what I do, feel free to leave me a tip!
