Ron Watches Dare You to Death Episode 3

If any of you guys have been reading any of my other posts, you’ll know that the start of 2026 for me has been hectic, which is why I am so behind on this show. My initial plan was to watch this as it airs! But what’s happened has happened, so let me just catch up now!

At the end of the last episode, we had another member of the friend group die, as well as Jade and Kamin flirting over laundry. Whatever will they do in this episode?

Whatever they’re doing in this episode will have to wait first, as the first scene we’re shown is that of a garage, where Tonkla is asking for more money for an activity. Shouldn’t you be more worried about the threatening letter that you got? But it looks like that’s the farthest thing from his mind because he takes what I assume is a customer’s car from the garage and takes it for a spin and then ends up hitting a guy on the road.

Then we find out why he isn’t worried — what we saw was the past, and now whoever sent him the threatening letter has a copy of the CCTV footage of him hitting that old dude with the car and leaving him to die. I wonder why the police never saw this footage before, but at this point in the show I am still willing to suspend my disbelief.

While Tonkla is stressing out over that, Jade and Kamin are looking at the evidence gathered from Tar’s murder scene. It’s looking to them like the murders are personal, and that it’s one person within the friend group that’s doing the killing. If they don’t catch whoever it is soon, that person might go on and on, whittling down the friend group for every slight done to him or her.

With all that serious stuff dealt with for now, we get to the part of the show where the guys flirt with one another. Jade hands Kamin a rental lease agreement because he wants that bussy to stay in his home. Kamin asks Jade if he’s missing warmth because he’s insistent on having him stay in his home, to which Jade responds that if he said yes, would Kamin provide that warmth? Again, I don’t know how human resources is going to view this interactions between co-workers, but whatever, I’m fine with it.

Kamin and Jade are now at the forensics lab, and it looks like Kamin and Jade might have some chemistry. I don’t blame the doctor, when I met Dunk last year he was very charming. The doctor even tries to get Kamin’s LINE contact over Tar’s dead body, which is definitely something! Kamin says he doesn’t use LINE and gives his email instead. LINE never really took off here where I’m from, I’ve only used it to play BT21 games.

BUT THEN WE FIND OUT THAT KAMIN USES LINE. How do we find out? Because Jade asked for Kamin’s email address and he gives his LINE ID instead. Oh Jade, you might have a chance to wreck that bussy after all. But that joy is short-lived as they get called to the precinct by the commander, who is dissatisfied with the slow progress of the case. They’re given seven days to solve the case by the commander who is looking more and more like a corrupt cop.

Despite being warned to stay away from Champ, Kamin and Jade question him about Puifai, the girl who died in the first episode. Champ lawyers up after some insistent questions from Kamin and Jade, and he even gets his arm twisted after he tries to threaten Kamin. We also get another flirty moment when Jade tells Kamin he won’t know how he’s supposed to live if something happens to him. It’s cute, but I feel like the chemistry of Joong and Dunk is doing the heavy lifting here because I don’t think the show itself has been as successful in showing the character’s developing feelings for each other.

We finally get back to Tonkla, who it appears has received another Truth or Dare card? He’s supposed to meet Chereen, who we find out gave Fai a drug. Chereen insists that she had nothing to do with it, but Tonkla tells her that her not being truthful with him is going to make it difficult for him to save her if things go south. Chereen then reveals that Fai wanted to prank the group, but she didn’t go through with it and kill Fai. What was the prank supposed to be? Whatever it was supposed to be, Tonkla promises to protect her, but he doesn’t even know that he’s being surveilled.

The policeman surveilling Tonkla reports back, but the detail that really stuck with me is that Jade is in the shower, because he was the one that the policeman was supposed to report back to. Of course, after the report, Kamin has to tell Jade about it, so why not tell him in the shower? We get another shot of towel-clad Joong that I can’t share here because I don’t know how people screencap from Netflix. And then we have Kamin pulling off that towel and honestly, how has none of this reached human resources? Especially since Kamin brings the towel from out of the bathroom and Jade has to run out with a small towel covering his dick and his ass hanging out? We even get a shot of side butt! Surely some of the other officers have called human resources by now!

Anyway, all of that is interrupted by Jay calling Kamin to tell him that Tonkla has received a letter and he can’t contact him. The guys arrive just in time to save Tonkla from a couple of goons beating him up, but I don’t think those are the actual killers, since they’re asking Tonkla to pay up. They’re just loan sharks, so they promptly get ignored and Jade and Kamin concentrate on the card Tonkla’s received. It lists all the ~sins~ of Tonkla’s friend group, but despita all of that and two of his friends dying, Tonkla’s still being a little shit. If I were them, I’d let him die.

But I’m not Jade and Kamin, so not only do they look out for Tonkla, Kamin figures out that he’s hiding something from them. He’s figured out that the attack from the loan sharks was staged since none of Tonkla’s high value items were stolen, and Tonkla doesn’t have a Dare card like Tar did.

Jade and Kamin take Jay out to dinner to get some information out of him, but they are unfortunately unsuccessful because Jay, like Tonkla, are straight men and straight men are dumb. Somebody’s killing your friend group and you’re still not sharing information that could save your lives!

Kamin gets a call from another department of the police force that’s investigating drugs, who tell him that the drugs they found on Tar are connected to policemen and politicians. Right on cue, Kamin gets attacked by some goons and is saved from being beat up by Jade. Kamin gets injured in the meh fight scene, which of course gives us the opportunity to see some hurt/comfort.

Seeing Kamin wounded drives home to Jay how dangerous everything is, and he tells Jade and Kamin that the letter Tonkla got included CCTV footage of that guy he killed during a hit-and-run. Kamin also discovers that Jay has the exact same photo showing the whole friend group that the killer has. He and Jade then go back to the drawing board and peg each other another member of the friend group, Bell, as a possible suspect. However, Bell has also gotten the truth or dare cards, and it looks like Jay and Chereen are next after her.

Neither Jade nor Kamin know about this, because they’re providing some hurt/comfort scenes for all the fujos watching this. There’s some wound cleaning, there’s some shirt lifting with a nipple focus, fujos are getting fed.

Not getting fed is Bell, who is in a bathtub with a glass of champagne and who is likely to die in this episode. And she does! But apparently, she was ~chosen~ by whoever picked Dare. So that’s what the names on the card are for! The way she dies is via acid, which the killer pours into the bathtub that she’s in. ALSO, the killer lets slip that Bell maybe did something to Fai. What could it be?

While Bell is burning up from the acid, things are also ~burning up~ between Jade and Kamin as Jade tends to Kamin’s would and openly stares at Kamin’s nipples. Give them a flick, don’t be shy! Jade doesn’t flick Kamin’s nipples, but he does try to kiss him. Kamin pulls back, but then initiates the kiss instead. Things are definitely burning up.

Honestly I just kept using burning up to have an excuse to post this.

Stream it on Spotify as well!

If any of you guys like what I do, feel free to leave me a tip!
