Okay, finally getting caught up once again. Let’s get into it!

At the end of the previous episode, Left and Right were getting ready to fight Tenaga-Ashinaga, two Daemons who have somehow ended up in the pocket dimension the Tadera clan has control of. Will we get to see a fight scene?

Not right away! This is because the episode starts with Dera trying to wake up one of the tails that were following him and Yuru. A pistol butt to the face finally does it, and Yuru and Dera find out that this tail — a grandmother — isn’t the one wielding Tenaga-Ashinaga. While the granny doesn’t know who the Daemons are, Left and Right do have history with them. Together with a monk with the power of Seal, they sealed Tenaga-Ashinaga inside Mount Yamou, which Google tells me isn’t a real mountain but a mythological one. Tenaga-Ashinaga were sealed up in the mountain because they were eating people, but after thousands of years, their mythology has been reduced to them pulling pranks on farmers.

Now that they’ve been freed, Tenaga-Ashinaga do not want to go back into the mountain, and since Left and Right are here, the one who has the power of Seal must also be here. Good thing Dera is a quick thinker, because he pretends to be the master of Left and Right to get them away from Yuru. But while Left and Right put up a good fight, we find out that without Seal, they won’t be able to defeat Tenaga-Ashinaga. Interesting. So will we get to see Yuru die this episode?

While Left and Right fight Tenaga-Ashinaga, Yuru and Dera interrogate the granny, and we find out that they’ve been sent by Asuma, the second son. Was he also the one who opened the “west gate” into the complex? Maybe we’ll find out later! At the moment, Dera and Yuru have come up with a plan: Yuru looks for Tenaga-Ashinaga’s master, while Dera, the granny, and Left and Right distract Tenaga-Ashinaga.

We find out that even Daemons can get hurt by bullets, thanks to Dera sniping them from…somewhere. But they can heal themselves by eating people, and it looks like granny’s going to be today’s dish. However, she saves her butt for now by telling Tenaga-Ashinaga that Yuru is the one who will gain the power of Seal, so of course, they wanna eat him instead.

Yuru makes it easier for Tenaga-Ashinaga, as he steps up and tells them the truth when they attempt to still eat the granny. However, Tenaga-Ashinaga are now in a conundrum. If they kill Yuru, he’ll gain the power of Seal. And they’re not sure if they kill him after gaining the power of Seal, because Left and Right won’t let that happen.

But Yuru surprises everyone by telling Left and Right not to do anything, as it is his job to take on Tenaga-Ashinaga. This leads to a pretty thrilling chase before we get to the climax: Yuru tricking Tenaga-Ashinaga and making them think he already has the power of Seal, giving Dera and Left and Right an in to defeat them. Yuru hasn’t died yet! AND, they’ve found and disposed of Asuma’s Daemon tail.
