Ron Watches You Maniac Episode 6

Episode 8 is set to air tonight, and if I don’t jinx myself, I might actually catch up. Let’s go!

We saw the quartet go on a blind date event in the previous episode, with Ten chickening out and Dean getting a little reality check when Moth bags all the guys. However, I certainly would get an ego boost to see that the guy everybody wants wants me.

We start this episode with Moth and Dean on a date, and Dean is feeling some type of way, probably because of the blind date event results. Moth really isn’t into the food here, but he’s trying to comfort Dean, which I think is a win for Dean, because Moth has been so set on his ways in the previous episodes. In fact, it’s always Moth that has been compromising in this relationship. Thankfully, Dean is appreciative of Moth’s efforts because otherwise? I’d be mad.

Then we get a scene where Dean finally ditches his clubbing nights to spend more time with Moth, and I say it’s about time. Moth can’t be the only one compromising. Dean cooks for Moth, which Moth wasn’t expecting, and of course, since we’re in front of a stove, somebody gets splattered with oil so that there’s going to be some touching involved. It’s Moth that gets splattered with oil in this instance, so we get to see him make eyes at Dean. Moth ends up liking the mea Dean cooked, which gives Dean the opportunity to ask Moth if maybe he’d like to stay the night and ~eat~ something else. Moth says he’ll think about it, but guess who ends up in Dean’s bedroom anyway? Moth.

HOWEVER, Moth doesn’t stay for very long, as the environment is just too unfamiliar for him. Fair! But I’m afraid that Dean is misunderstanding this and might think this is a rejection. But they hash it out in the DMs, so I was worried for nothing. The next morning, we find out that Moth starts with a product placement coffee product. Again, I love keeping track of these things.

Elsewhere in Bangkok, Punn is trying to meet up with Ten, although he doesn’t know that it’s Ten he’s looking for. He just knows him as Mr. Monsieur, which I am only know realizing is Mister Mister.

Anyways, Punn really wants to meet Ten, since they hit it off during the blind date event. But Ten is still under the shadow of Moth’s blunt declaration that Punn isn’t going to like him.

Meanwhile, we get another product placement scene between Moth and Dean. Should I not expect any plot development from these two and just expect product placements? I’m fine with it. After that beverage product placement scene, they head to a location that is…a product placement. I think this is the first time I’ve seen a location product placement? And guess what, a plot development! Turns out that Dean’s sister works at the product placement location, and now she’s joining their little date. She doesn’t believe that Moth and Dean are just friends, and warns Dean that someone might get to Moth first.

While Dean and Moth get invited over to Dean’s parents’ house, Ten has finally gathered up the courage to go to the dog owners’ meet-up and possibly reveal himself to Punn. He tries to hide from Punn early on, but circumstances just push the two of them together. Of course, Ten doesn’t care about circumstances and just hobbles his own chances at Punn. What are we doing, man? Maybe it’s just my old age, but this isn’t entertaining to me, and it isn’t kilig either. It’s frustrating. If you can’t even say who you are in front of your crush, you shouldn’t even be thinking of being in a relationship. This isn’t a high school show. You’re a working professional!

Over at Dean’s parents’ house, Moth is getting all the info on Dean’s childhood, straight from Dean’s mom. Dean’s mom also entrusts him to Moth, which of course just heightens Moth’s fondness for Dean. Tried and tested formula!

Another tried and tested formula is Punn announcing his departure from the group chat, forcing Ten to finally man up and face Punn and his big, fat crush on him. Turns out, Ten wasn’t the only one who stalked Punn’s social media, because Punn was doing the same to him. Punn’s known all about Ten’s attraction to him, and now he thinks the two of them should date. Finally.

Back to Moth and Dean, they’ve made their way back to Bangkok, and it looks like Dean’s sister really got to him, because despite being told to go back to his place, he rushes in to Moth’s building and tells him that he wants the two of them to be monogamous. Let’s see how things go from here!

If any of you guys like what I do, feel free to leave me a tip!
